Yet another overpriced Jewel. This store needs a real face lift; the flooring makes it look like an outdated store. Virtually no hot food, no sign of rotisserie chicken like other Jewels. Maybe the buyout by Kroger will help improve Jewel.

The Osco on 179th & Wolf in Orland Park is the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. 90% of the time, there is a delay in filling prescriptions. They are always, ALWAYS "running behind." Half the time, their "system is down" or they are "having problems with their system." They text when a prescription is ready, but the price isn't listed in the text (it used to be, but their "system changed." Communication is very poor. I waited days for a pain medication, only to be told that they didn't fill it because I had been prescribed another similar medication. However, they didn't bother to call me and tell me. As a result, I was left with an ineffective pain medication and they didn't fill the new one. Every visit to them is an annoying, frustrating experience. Unfortunatey, it is one of only two preferred pharmacies in my insurance plan and the only one close to my home, so I'm stuck with them. If you have another option, take it! Any pharmacy would be better than this one.

Best grocery store in the area. Always fully stocked and the employees are amazing. Store is clean and organized. Great deli and their grilled chicken is always fresh and delicious.

Jewel has edited my review or somehow wrote on my behalf, saying I falsely accused jewel. These pictures they added on the other review, are google images. This is not right at all, I will be now contacting the better business bureau. This is completely unprofessional.UPDATE: I have contacted and spoke with YELP CUSTOMER SERVICE they have created another profile using my name "Fran M" and now is using that profile to write reviews pretending it's me, this is completely wrong in every way possible!!! Also, to update everyone: Jewel did have to make an insurance claim. I've been dealing with Jewel & Sedgwick insurance about this matter. Also, cooperate and better business bureau is involved. I'm now going to contact the news outlet and let them investigate along with my legal team. Something is not right here.

Jewel in Orland is an "A"+. Great regional manager, Jamal. I met him the other day and we had a real nice conversation. The entire store and associates are top notch!

Employees are very nice and helpful. Bathrooms are horrible, you can smell the urine long before you enter the restroom area.

We just picked up a large bag of ice. What happened??? It used to be a nice round cube that didn't spill all over and easily separated! The quality of the bag we purchased is so bad. It's just pieces and shells of ice that were clumped together, the bag was not fully sealed and had a hole in it. I looked for one without a whole and could not find one on the top. Did not have any other option as I already paid for it at checkout.

I'm not one to complain, I once worked in a grocery store in addition to other retail locations so I know it's not an easy job at times. That being said...on today's date I purchased a hanging flower basket which I brought in with me from the outside curb area. After picking up two smaller items I went to the express lane. The cashier and bagger were just fine. However, an older woman approached who looked like a manager, picked up the flowers, and began sifting through them saying "oh these are so pretty." What she was really doing was insinuating I hid something inside them like a thief with the employees and several other customers are waiting behind me. My wife and I shop there at least twice a week but no more. You don't treat customers that way. Oh and by the way, I'm a police officer shopping there who just happened to stop a retail theft of alcohol WHILE SHOPPING THERE OFF DUTY a year ago. Peace out Jewel(s.)

l never write reviews, but after my experience today, I have too. I stopped at your Jewel this morning to pick up a few things with my elderly Mom. We came in the doors near Osco entrance, an the first thing I see are wet shopping carts filled with snow blocking the dry carts. One of your employees 'Laura M' must have seen us come in, an she immediately helped navigate the carts getting us a dry cart, the entire time she was making sure my mom (who walks with a cane) stayed on the dry area of the floor so she didn't fall, an kept repeatedly apologizing about the snowy carts. I was so surprised an Im very thankful that 'Laura M' was there to help us. Im so used too having too look for help, an not finding anyone. I will be returning to this Jewel more frequently, who have kind & compassionate employees.

I love my Jewel. The staff is friendly, I always find what I need. The "express" lines are awesome. Can't complain or say enough good things about my Jewel (179th and Wolf Rd.
