Sometimes you just want a good, filling breakfast. Nothing fancy, just well executed. Lumes Pancake house is a staple go to diner with several locations in Chicago and the southern suburbs. Go hungry and leave satisfied. They give double eggs, good coffee and a neighborhood vibe and are open to modifications. My fav is corned beef hash with over medium eggs and fries. Yep, I said fries. Hey, I do me and you do you. Enjoy!

Our waitress was busy with many customers but responsive to our few requests. The place was noisy with conversations bouncing off windows, which I (oddly) enjoy.

Seating and service was very prompt. They have large Portions of food the pineapple ham, bacon omelette was very tasty, The Greek skillet was very good. Eggs were cooked to perfection. All of the flavors were phenomenal. Our waitress Lisa was very prompt. It’s a little expensive for breakfast $50 for two people overall it’s very good.
