Times have changed, I guess. No more warm cookies, no more courteous service, no more clean looking store. Have been buying these for decades. Never again at the Orland location. I'll try a different location though, I'm sure.

Went to mrs fields today and wanted to get some sugar cookies with icing. Didn’t have any made so I asked can I get some sugar cookie mini sandwiches and other icing(might I add never had an issue getting someone to make them before ) wanted about 12 of the mini cookie sandwiches … I have 6 people in my house . She says well I can only 2 a couple we aren’t suppose to do this for people …. Since when ? Because I have never heard that they won’t do this . After she rings me up for my 2 cookie sandwiches and 2 cookies I ended up getting my for 2 children I had with me . Immediately went back to get friend that was hanging out waiting for her and gossiping about their day . Horrible customer service !

It's been years since I visited a Mrs Fields shop.Frequented one often when I worked in downtown Chicago. Found myself in the Orland Mall, saw the little shop and decided to stop by and recapture a bit of youth.Alas, it's true what they say, you can never go back.As far as taste, there's just a hint of the old recipe I remembered and the chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamian and oatmeal cookies are much thinner now. The cookies were so undercooked that they turned into a mound of dough inside the bag by the time my son and I made it to our car.Disappointed to say the least.

We ordered a large cookie for my son's bday party-we went to pick it up and the girls says "oh, I didn't know we had any orders today, our baker didn't even come in." How terrible and irresponsible! Luckily, I was able to go upstairs in the mall to Nestlé to get one made in an hour....I hope it will be good. Mrs. Fields has lost my business indefinitely!
