We reserved a high top and were seated upon arrival. Service was excellent and so were our meals. Unfortunately about 1/2 way through our meal, the restaurant became very crowded with people waiting for tables. So much so that one party was standing next to our table and one person was actually leaning on our table while we tried to eat. I felt our waiter or even a manager should have noticed this and rectified it as it ruined our dining experience. We plan to avoid going on weekends now.

Our go to favorite failed on an entre in a big way. A waygu special steak was extremely difficult to even cut through. My bad was I didn't advise. It was a birthday celebration and didn't want to put a damper on the event. Will return

One particular draw for us to Ottimo is that they provide gluten free pastas!! We also enjoy the Italian wines, such as Barbera and Montepulciano. Great place overall!

A long time favorite, Ottimo delivers in all areas; food, service, and ambiance. Tonight we enjoyed the Braised Pork with Papradelle and the Oreganato Crusted Halibut. Both dishes were outstanding. Having lived in Florida for many years, it is my opinion that Ottimo prepares fish better than the Sunshine State. In summary, Ottimo is the “downtown” restaurant in the suburbs.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. The food, service and drinks were great! The were very kind to our children. They also surprised us with an anniversary dessert which was delicious.

Osteria Ottimo is a Family owned restaurant with Great Chefs, Service & Food second to none. They have put together a Fantastic Wine Selection , make specialty drinks otherwise only found in Las Vegas. This is a must dining experience.

I have been here many times (takeout) and dined in once. The staff is very friendly, and the food quality is top notch. I would definitely suggest the lasagna (Thurs only) for a dine in option. They do serve the Ottimo burger once a month (last Thurs of the month)and it's absolutely delicious. Patrick the manager is amazing, his hospitality is one of the reasons I keep coming back. My one dine experience was with Kate and she was also very knowledgeable and definitely embodies the great customer service here.

Noisy full restaurant. Appetizers were good but main courses fall short. The pork shoulder with pasta was ok but the roast chicken with vesuvia sauce lack flavor.

We celebrated our daughter's birthday with family. There was nice variety for everyone and each entree was delicious. We have gone twice there and plan to go again. Wonderful!

Consistently some of the best food in the SW suburbs. As usual, our servers Daniel and Juan were very attentive and helpful. We always take out of town guests to Ottimo's and they always request that we go back during their subsequent visits!
