Potbelly Sandwich Shop

Placed an online order for 3:15 pickup saw 2 sandwiches ready by 3:15 had to wait 10 min and watch customer who came in after order and get there sandwiches before mine was finished. When I asked I was told would I like a cookie. I said I want my sandwich which was due 10 min ago. And was given a blank stare. I will not be going back anytime soon.

I'm so disappointed. After a long day of work and on a hot summer night I had a taste for an Oreo Shake. The Potbelly closest to me is located at 15901 Harlem Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477. They close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:54pm and was told they stopped making shakes at 8:45pm!?!?! I was told to drive another 10 minutes to the Orland Park location since they close at 10pm. They are located at: 15825 LaGrange Rd, Orland Park, IL 60462. I arrived there by 9:10pm, and was told they stopped making shakes as well for the night. I told the young woman behind the counter that I was told they should still be making shakes since they didn't close until 10pm. She said... no, we stop at 8:45pm as well. I don't understand. Is this Potbellys policy all over, and if so why isn't this disclosed on the front door next to the hours?? I wasted my time and gas. Since Potbelly didn't want my money, I gave it to Culvers who had no issues making an Oreo shake that was just as delicious...if not better😊😋

This location could use a more efficient staff- better work ethic, little more training. I’ve had few bad experiences.

As soon as you walk in there was garbage everywhere, on tables , floors, there was no one eating at the time, the two kids working there seemed bothered. By far the worst potbelly I been to.

I came to this location Lagrange the young man was so great but young girl was so rude talking from her tip nose I didn’t give a tip because I knew she will take from my tip . I hope to separate the tip between the co workers because some work hard and other don’t care .

The food at potbelly is always good, but the people who work at this location have no idea what they’re doing. It seems like everyone there is stoned out of their minds every time I go there. I ordered 2 combos, a skinny and a kids meal, and they had no idea what I was talking about even though they’re standing in front of the menu. Then I go to pay and they over charged me by $10. Not one employee who I interacted with knew what they were doing. The whole experience was very strange. I’ve never had this happen at any other potbelly.

I ordered a clubby and when I got home it was completely wrong. It had jalapeños, onions and oil. Those don’t come on the sandwich and I didn’t say that to the guy either. I threw that shit out. A waste of $24

I eat Potbelly 3-4 times a month. Worst sandwiches I ever received. Missing meat, wheat bread instead of white, did not taste like the usual. I always get Lucky 7. Love this Sammy. This experience makes me now want another. Left a bad taste in mouth. Didn’t finish half the sammy

Jasmin was an excellent cashier! She was friendly, efficient, and made the checkout process smooth and pleasant. Her warm attitude and attention to detail really stood out. It’s always a better shopping experience with someone like Jasmin is at the register—thank you!

I’m a frequent customer of potbelly. The sandwiches and shakes are very tasty. I went to this location recently and was greeted prints by the staff. The shop was very clean and bright and spacious. I came on a Friday looking for a non meat option due to me being a Catholic and it being Good Friday. I had the veggie melt and it was super delicious. I paired it with a chocolate shake which was tasty as well. The staff of young ladies were all kind and working hard. I believe one of them was the main a manger Erika I think, and she was very friendly and told me about some promotions they had coming up. When in the area I would definitely be back. Great staff and inviting place to have lunch!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an order I placed through your app on March 19, 2024, at 6:20 PM from the Orland Park, IL location. The estimated delivery time was 20–45 minutes, but the order was repeatedly delayed. After an hour, I called the store and spoke with Destiny, who informed me the food was ready but awaiting a driver. Given the delay and the fact that my family was fasting for Ramadan and needed to eat by 7:00 PM before attending prayer, I requested to cancel the order. Destiny assured me that the manager would issue a refund in the morning.

However, when the manager called me at 8:05 AM, she refused a full refund, citing weather delays, despite the storm passing by 6:00 PM. She only offered a partial refund, disregarding the previous assurance. The lack of understanding regarding our time-sensitive needs during Ramadan was disappointing, especially in a diverse community.

As a business owner myself, I value customer service and believe the manager at this location needs better training in handling complaints with empathy. Given this experience, I can no longer support this location. I request that my full refund be processed as initially promised and ask that this issue be addressed.
