RoccoVino's Italian Restaurant

Sadly I’m giving one of my favorite restaurants in the area for Italian Seafood. 🍤 Last night we had a family gathering at Rocco Vinos. We’ve been going here for years now and have almost always had a great dinner and evening. My appetizer is ALWAYS Misto Griggliata. Last 2 times I’ve ordered it I should’ve complained as the octopus 🐙 was charred so much it was inedible. It was always served on a bed of cooked spinach with a few tomatoes. 🍅 Last night I didn’t even recognize it on a bed of lettuce. 🥬😔 My entree I always order is Zuppa de pesce which is now $42!!! Started at $28. It used to have a plate of linguine under all the seafood 🍤 last night it had less than a small handful. We decided that as our total bill was $350 for 3 kids and 5 adults we won’t be going back much if at all. My grandson had the kids ravioli which only had 3. VERY DISAPPOINTED 😢

When visiting the Chicagoland area I had to get a pizza, the wait was definitely worth it as this cheesey delight had melty cheese stretching from mouth to box.

First time trying this restaurant. Our server Guadalupe was amazing. She was prompt and professional. The food was delicious and fresh! The entrees come with side of soup or salad. I had the chicken marsala that came with roasted potatoes and mixed veggies. My husband had the baked Mostacolli. Everything was so good. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Food and atmosphere were great! Would highly recommend! Was my first time here. Definitely will come back, waitress very friendly.

The food was good; the baked mostacolli needed to be baked longer, and the ravioli needed to cook longer. The meat sauce is very good. The server seemed new and did not show much personality. I think it was because she was new and did not want to make any errors.

Ordered rigatoni w meat sauce. Nice size order. Sauce was good. Wish they had Savignon Blanc as a discounted white wine. Only had two choices of white for Thurs special $20 bottle.

Very good food. Excellent waiter. We come here when we're in town. My cousin lives close and comes often. She has many food allergies and Rocco Vino Always accommodates her! And that is why we will be back again and again!

Dietary restrictions: They are so accommodating to people with allergies. I can't recommend this place more strongly! I have never been to a restaurant with my cousin that has been more accommodating than Rocco Vino.

Always a great experience! Meals are always so fresh and flavorful. And the service is the best. Often would say if they come and refill your water glass multiple times, it's a place you want to come back to often! Thanks

We've been to RoccoVino's many times and the food is always very good. The service is attentive and friendly. Great place in the neighborhood for a nice dinner and friendly vibe.

We have been to Roccovinos many times & always had a terrific dinner. Even during Covid shutdowns, we ordered pick-up & were never disappointed. That being said our last visit was off. Went for pizza & one arrived barely warm the other was dropped & they had to remake it. It came out steaming hot but a smaller size than ordered. We were supposed to receive it at “no charge” but were charged for 2 small pizzas instead of one medium. I don't mind paying for what was received but the service was off. Hopefully that night was a fluke.

We typically love this restaurant. Have great food and service. Unfortunately, last night was a little different. Waited an hour for entree, not one person came to let us know why. We were there celebrating a birthday and were brought the check with no warning, no offer of dessert or coffee, asked after the bill was paid if “ we wanted cake or something “. The food was good, but the service was unfortunate. Not sure if we will be going back anytime soon.

Went for my wife's birthday. Everything was beyond excellent.
