The Cheesecake Factory

My wife and I went to the cheesecake factory in Orland park. My food was good, I ordered the orange chicken and the crab wontons but my wife ordered the herb crusted salmon. The salmon was good but the mashed potatoes was runny, not cooked all the way, looked like baby spit up, the dish was covered in a pool of melted butter enough to make my wife sick, the manager came over and made some ridiculous excuse why the mashed potatoes was so bad, made no comment on the pool of butter. The asparagus was a joke, just 5 little pieces. The manager only offered to discount 15 dollars of the meal and a free cheesecake. It was the Oreo cheesecake and unfortunately I’ve had better cheesecake at BrickStone Brewery in Bourbonnais which is where I will dinning from now on. A place called cheesecake factory you would think would have good cheesecake but I could make a better cheesecake and mashed potatoes🤣😂 sad but true!!! It was her birthday too, she deserved better!

I always get the Cajun chicken pasta and it never disappoints me.

I’ve always liked The Cheesecake Factory, but this last visit left a bad taste. From the start, the vibe was off. The host, Mia V, didn’t seem too friendly—kind of cold and dismissive. While we were waiting, we saw other groups (who came in after us) getting seated before us. When we asked about it, the response was pretty short and uninterested, and she barely made eye contact. Also, we overheard her talking about how easy it is to steal servers tips as a host.

It was hard not to notice that we were the only people of color in the waiting area, and the difference in how we were treated really stood out. I don’t want to assume the worst, but the pattern felt pretty obvious—and honestly, it hurt.

Stuff like this isn’t just annoying, it’s alienating. Everyone should feel welcome and respected, no matter who they are. The food was great, as usual, but that experience really put a damper on things. Hoping management takes a look at what’s going on here or we will not be coming back if we see her working.

I don't know what was going on that day but the service was very slow, a person even got up and left because they didn't even go to her table but the food and cheesecake were on point

Frequent visitors of Cheese Cake factory. Usually stick to one meal. Been on a journey to try every item on the menu.

Ordered on door dash the club sandwich…..3 meals technically then someone form door dash calls me to offer a different type of bread but made it rocket science as I couldn’t understand him possibly one of them…. who knows. The point is the manager couldn’t have this type of bread stocked and ready obviously means bad management or they need help.

Cheesecakes here are great obviously, food is not. Wouldn’t go for dinner or lunch.

When I went to Cheese Cake Factory I was seating there for an hour and a half. When I got my food I asked for four cheese pasta with chicken and did not get my chicken

This location is always crowded,but then most are. Food is ok, the cheese cake is o.k. I think that it is a decent place but they may need to start expanding the space. Oakbrook is a bit better, north brook would be my choice over all

Hardly any chicken in my Dinner sized Chicken Alfredo!! The male waiter told the manager I wasn’t happy. I expected at least to get extra pieces !! The manager was very cold & u friendly!! She told me they have nothing to do with the amount of chicken in the dish stated it is pre measured. Really!! She did Nothing to resolve my complaint. Waist is money!! I’ve been here many times & never has an issue. My silverware was dirty & the waiter offered me plastic utensils instead of clean silverware!! When my friend asked for some toothpicks he pointed down the hall stating they were at the bakery counter!! I went to get them for her since her & the waiter was there already!! He was already headed that way and refused to be courteous enough to bring a toothpick!! Terrible food and service!!

Great restaurant. Went in on a monday with my girlfriend. Mike's service was fantastic. The Tuscan Chicken on the skinnylicous menu was phenomenal. Highly recommend this establishment.
