Let me first say the staff was ok. Unfortunately I had the brisket. It was the worst brisket I have ever had. Very tough no flavor tasted more like hickory ham. I ate about a third and sent it back. The manager brought more and explained how the hickory wood causes the pink color. I certainly don’t know if that’s true. The only flavor was at the edge. The next attempt had A LOT of fat which helped but still took it home for my Dogs. I have had brisket here before and at many places. I have never tasted anything quite so off. Normally the smoke and flavor are throughout. Maybe if you smothered it in sauce? Beware when the parking lot is empty. Maybe that was a clue I should have taken.

My father and uncle went there for my dads birthday today. They were asked by the waitress how the food was and my dad said to check his pulse and my uncle said food coma. Within a few minutes the manager came out and said that something offensive was said. The manager did not give his name, nor did he say what the offensive statement was. Both my uncle and father explained exactly what happened and all the manager said was that there must have been a misunderstanding. He did not apologize for interrupting their meal and just walked away. That is an incredibly poor management style and he should not have a job if that is how he chooses to handle conflict. I fully believe in protecting your employees but being rude to customers over a misunderstanding and then failing to apologize for it is inexcusable. No one is blaming the waitress, I’m told she is a very kind girl. But this manager should not have a job if that is how he manages his establishment.

Came in ona night they weren't busy at all. You could see the kitchen staff huddled up and talking an playing on their phones as soon as you walked in the door. Service was extremely slow, too slow despite there being only maybe 4 tables of people, all the food was cold. We live out of state so this was our first visit. Not impressed at all. Do not recommend and will.not be returning.
