I would say stick to the wings. we tried to pizza which was not cheap and it was so thick the middle of the pizza was super doughy. Pretty upset as i wpuld have just got more wings or tried something else
We've been coming to Anchor Bar since it opened in Oswego, IL. The service has always been great and the wait staff is so friendly and attentive. Our favorite is Michelle. She always has a friendly smile and treats us like family. The prices are reasonable and of course the food is delicious! My favorite are the wings and the Anchor Bar draft beer.
We had a large party, last minute put together birthday with 15 people. I called earlier In the day to reserve tables. They had everything set up before we got there. It was a very busy Saturday night. Our server Dylan was amazing. Drinks were always full. Food was as great as the service. Do try this place!! it's been pretty busy every time I am there. but never disappointed.

Anchor Bar Oswego offers outstanding food, far superior to anything offered at that other wing place from NY. Favorites are the wings, beef on Weck, buffalo chicken sandwich, and the extreme heat sauce. The chipotle BBQ wings are stupendous, and the pizza and mac n cheese burger are also recommended. There is never bad food here. The atmosphere is perfect, with a phenomenal draft beer selection that's frequently updated and lots of great menu items for sharing. Service is excellent; even with a big group on a Sunday evening, the two servers busted their butts to take care of everyone. The bartender knows how to make a drink. From the lunch menu to happy-hour to daily specials, this place is DEFINITELY worth checking out.
