just got take out and the chicken tacos were so salty I could only take one bite and threw them away. the rice and beans my husband got tasted like burnt plastic. I was so excited to eat here and I will never go back.

I’m still searching for a good Mexican restaurant in Oswego. We got take out: enchiladas and they were average-ok but not fantastic. We paid $1.50 for a ziplock bag of chips and they tasted like Tostitos.

This may have been one of the worst restaurant meals we've ever had. The "ground beef" tasted and felt like canned meat. Everything was dry and had the texture and temperature irregularities of microwaved food. None of us got more than halfway through our plate because the food was inedible and questionably safe. We were the only people in the restaurant the entire time we were there but still had to ask for things twice before receiving them. I was sure one or all of us would end up sick from the food but luckily (surprisingly) we didn't.

Horrible all around. $20 for a slimy veggie burrito that only had beans, peppers, lettuce and cheese despite what their menu says. They charge you for hot sauce that has no flavor. Poor customer service. No AC and it was 92 degrees. My kids cheeseburger came rare. My family spent $52 total and we couldn’t even eat it.

The spicy menu section is amazing, and I loved the chimichanga!

Edit my edit-

Prices are very high, extra salsa has a charge too, portions smaller.
Service was awful. Young man that served us- never came back to check on us, brought food in 4 different slow stages, had to get up and ask for refill, waited 10 minutes for him to ring up or check. Everything was in SLOW mode.

Editing review- has definitely improved...still pricey but better...Used to come here all the time before it changed ownership. Got a take out order today. BEAN burrito- no meat $9. Chips and salsa to go $11!!! Will never return, prices are a joke

Carnitas were probably the best I’ve ever had even in Chicago. Chicken was good and flavorful. Pastor was kind of dried out and not a lot of flavor. Steak was dry too. Overall the food was very flavorful, not to much salt. Rice is OMG good. The homemade salsas are very delicious and worth it. The price is understandable but it’s a little pricey on some items. I was wary reading previous reviews but it was a great experience. We will be eating here a lot more.

My family and I have eaten at this location several times before and enjoyed the food. However on 4/26 my party of 5 all got various levels of food poisoning ranging from mild to severe symptoms. The most severe symptoms affected my daughter and her friend whom experienced vomiting and diarrhea for several days. This goes without saying, that we will not be returning.

I paid $21 for something that really should’ve cost about 10, and that’s after tax. It appears if you dine in you get your money worth but if you take out you don’t. Also, the food was not that great. I will not be going back to this restaurant again. Save yourself, money and time, go somewhere else.

This is possibly the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Overpaid $12 for 3 small tacos. The chicken was rancid smelling like an old gym sock so I did not bother trying it. The steak was tough because it was so overcooked. I didn't even bother with the beef taco. $12 down the drain.
