Let me start by saying the quality of the food was really good. Staff were wonderful and atmosphere nice. The thing that brings the review down is the super bland food. First time here had the fried chicken and ravioli and thought it was all very bland. Now second time, I get the chicken parm and the same thing here, everything is extra bland. Also very little sauce and it is only on the spaghetti, none on the chicken itself. Overall it is not a bad place by any means, but for me personally I need way more flavor.

A small, dark restaurant (hence the name "Hideaway") for a cozy dinner. Dined here with my uncle and auntie, and had a very nice meal. We started off with sharing the cheese squares which were by far my favorite. Lightly fried, not too greasy, melty and gooey. I had a crispy side salad brought to me first as part of my meal. The blue cheese dressing tastes homemade and was very good. The salad is just a small plate of ice berg lettuce cut into pieces, nothing to write home about. The fried pickles appetizer was just meh, not sure if it was the breading that was underwhelming or that they were too salty. Not crispy enough. My main meal was Shrimp (grilled) and hash browns - ! - on the side. Hash browns as a dinner side dish?? YES please. I inhaled it. The shrimp was served on a skewer and were enormous pieces, perfectly grilled. It is a menu catering to the carnivores mostly, lots of steak and pork. If I didn't eat fish or seafood I would have been in bad shape as I don't think there was a vegetarian item on the menu (besides salad). Very limited if you don't eat any of the above. They also have chicken. It is a popular local place, and my parents used to frequent here back in the 70s and 80s. It is not my favorite place in the area due to the limited pescatarian/vegetarian items on the menu, but it is good food and service overall.

Perfect filet mignon every time! I highly recommend the double baked potato as your side. The garlic salad dressing is one of their in house dressings and it is amazing! I also like the crusted bread loaf that they serve with my dinner. I drove over an hour to go back for dinner. This ranks as one of my favorite restaurants. The restaurant is situated in a home, at the back of a small subdivision of houses. Such a neat little place. Be sure to make reservations because it is well loved by many. I was seated immediately with my reservation. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Tastes alright, but don't really care for it. Tastes generic.

Service was good, but the steaks were a bit pricey for my pocket.

Love the food and the service! I had their chicken and waffles, and they were sooo good and I've always loved their chicken! My brother used to cook for them many years ago! I do miss the onion rings they made back then! But love this quaint little place!

Love the family supper club atmosphere. Everyone is so kind. The food is fantastic, especially the fried chicken livers. Fried chicken is the juiciest chrispy I have ever had. Steaks, seafood, and pastas are all so

Nice family restaurant. We visited for dinner. The service was very good and the food arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the family dinner. This is chicken (half or quarter) served with ravioli(tortillini) , potato, spaghetti. My friends had chicken or tomato based pasta dishes. The chicken was good and everything was served hot. Those of us that had pasta found it rather bland. We would eat here again, but would probably choose a dish with more flavor than the tomato based pastas.

I liked it and would definitely go there again. I had the lasagna, want to try the fried chicken and the prim rib!
