Service was good. Food was pretty terrible. Ordered a caprese salad. I received 3 small slices of unripened very hard tomatoes and 3 slices of store bought mozzarella. If you don't have ripe tomatoes, don't serve the food.

This is a very critical review because this place seems like they hold themselves to high standards. I was not dissatisfied at all. I just hope someone that can offer advice to the kitchen sees this. We got the bang bang calamari. The breading is very good. Great job on that. But the rings of the head and the half tentacles need to be cooked to different times. The rings were over cooked and the half tentacles were cooked very well. But it's mostly rings so that's kind of important because overcooked squid is chewy. The bang bang sauce is not bad. But i wouldn’t get it again. From tasting it I'd say more acid and less sweatness, and maybe some resting time. It tasted very fresh. But it's hard to say when I don't know the ingredients or prep method. The tomato based sauce that came with the calamri was really really good. Home made or not, that stuff is good. I'd buy that sauce to use at home. The chicken picatta was really good but the sauce was a little watery. That possibly could have been one of my top 10 favorite dishes ever if the sauce wasn't watery. I very much appreciate proper simplicity. Pasta and chicken were cooked well, capers were good quality as were the cherry tomatoes. The sauce had flavor but I couldn't detect any lemon. Possibly the watery aspect diluted that flavor. For the chicken parm, the breading gets soggy too fast and the sauce was watery and too sweet. I didn't order that myself or I would have sent back with an explanation. Overall I did enjoy my time here. And I will be back again! But I genuinely hope this review is taken respectfully and I hope it only helps! I will be delighted to change my review to a 5 star if my experience when I come back is 5 star worthy to someone as critical as me. And I will be happy to explain why it's worth 5 stars.

I was in Princeton IL for the week for work, and my group came here one night for dinner- great choice! I was very surprised at how nice & modern this restaurant was, and the food was delicious. Calamari appetizer with bang bang sauce was perfect, and I got the salmon risotto which was outstanding. I was just sad that my wife couldn't be there to try it! If I am ever in the area again, I will go out of my way to eat here again. The servers were also all very friendly & attentive!

Delicious, especially the black and blue pasta, but they DESPERATELY need some sort of sound dampening in the dining area. You have to shout so the person next to you can hear you!

This place is really nice. The food was amazing...we got Mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they were hand battered. I got the chicken parmesan sandwich and fries, both were great. My date got the chicken piccata, which was also so good. For dessert, we tried the homemade tiramisu and that was fantastic...not too sweet. The waitress, McKenzie, was a pleasure...super friendly and fun.

Met friends here for our first visit. All 4 of us were very impressed. The place has a gorgeous bar area, very cool vibe. My husband had the salmon-huge portion & delicious!! I selected the Chicken Marsala which was served with a yummy linguini & I took half home. Excellent. Service was very good, not perfect only because a trainee was learning with our server that evening. Our friends had Chicken Alfredo and Blue cheese Filet/pasta. They agreed everything was very delicious! We can’t wait to come back again!!

Ummmm…ok so we came back bc first visit a few months ago was awesome. This visit was polar opposite. Servings were much smaller and prices are much higher ($4 more for the scallops; now $20?? and all he got were four tiny ones {maybe half dollar} and a small piece of stale bread). The waitress ignored us, waiting on a different table first, my brisket had full pieces of fat in it and she rolled her eyes when I asked for a refill (the ice was to the top of the cup for Pete’s sake)….

Friendly staff, has indoor and outdoor seating areas. The bartender recommended some items off the menu, but we only stayed for a little while, so I did not get to try any food. I really enjoyed the ambiance though. The reason for only four stars is I did not try the food.
