Brad is a gracious host! We recently celebrated our small family wedding in the back room. He and his staff were more than welcoming. The food was over the top delicious. Huge delicious ribeyes, perfectly cooked salmon and the best French Onion soup were a couple of the highlights. Think old fashioned supper club but kicked up. Ottawa is lucky to have a number of nice restaurants and this is at the top.

Our company Christmas party is held there every year. Great food. Huge portions. Friendly staff. Highly recommend them.
Your driver flies down our 25 mph street everyday and blows the stop sign everyday!!! 2-5 times per day in some cases if you want to drive fast stick to the main roads !!! Not we're my kids & pets play!!!!,I'm sure this is a nice place to eat but as your neighbors I'll never eat here just Because your employees are scum bags that endanger the safety of the whole neighborhood!!!!

TIME TO CLOSE THE DOORS! Thought we were going to be in a for a real treat at an "old school" supperclub. Food was terrible and tasted old/stale. $60 for steak that was not even good enough to be graded "Choice". We could hardly cut it because it was tough and grisly; something you buy at a discount food chain. Bland, watery potato's that were obviously frozen/prepackaged. The final kicker was the staff AND owner running around like they just got done doing lawn work. We didn't go to a place like this to spend $200 on food and cocktails to have a "teenager" in a t-shirt and shorts wait on us. He didn't know anything about cocktails, wine (we asked for a wine list and he had to ask if they had one!) or what was all in the twice baked potato. Of course, this is the owners fault for no/poor training. After talking with others from the area, we found out the owner has it up for sale. I have seen this all too many times, he is out of money and can't make ends meet so he jacks the prices way up and cuts the quality. Don't wait to sell; close up now and quit ripping people off.

It had been a few years since I’ve been to Monte’s and let me tell you, 100% satisfied. Brad the owner is interactive with all the customers and the food was top tier. I had the shrimp and broccoli Alfredo and my girlfriend had the 18 oz. Ribeye! Both were amazing. Definitely recommend!
Kid-friendliness: It’s a respectable dining experience with very friendly people to run it. Wouldn’t hesitate to bring my kids.
