We live 20 minutes away. Every Friday my Wife and son has to go for there for their Fish dinner. I love their ribs dinner. We eat there 3-4 time every week a lot of good food on their menu all the time. A lot better food and prices than most of the restaurant around town. Easy to get in and out. The service is wonderful as soon as you step into the door.

I love this place, just found it as I'm working close by recently. Food is amazing and the price is even better. I ordered a burger and got fries and a bowl of soup with it, huge portions. Great place, the grilled cheese and vegetable beef soup is my favorite so far

What a find! We’re always looking for great family-style diners near the highway when we travel, and this one is a real gem. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Our waitress, Kelly, was amazing—so welcoming and friendly. Thank you, Kelly, for your wonderful service! We’ll definitely be adding Oasis Family Restaurant to our regular travel list. So glad we found it!

Went there today 9/5/2025 ordered country skillet food was crap 💩

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in because from the outside it doesn't look like much. But it was clean and friendly. The fried chicken was as good as mom used to make and the price was very reasonable.

We were passing through on I-80 in Illinois and saw a sign that said family restaurant. So we went there (it’s north off the interstate exit 90). It’s a gas station, carry out and the restaurant. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but inside was clean and comfortable.
Crissey waited on us and couldn’t have been nicer. The food was very good and my fried chicken was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was lightly breaded and juicy. It came with spaghetti, soup or salad and ice cream.

I was running early for my delivery appt and decided to stop here and grab a bite to eat. I was greeted promptly, told to have seat anywhere and the menu was handed to me shortly afterwards. I ordered the steak and eggs. Steak was cooked to my liking and was delicious. The eggs were cooked scrambled and cheese added as I requested. Fruit was fresh and pancakes were fluffy. The waitress checked on me occasionally but wasn’t too overbearing. I did not need to add any salt, pepper or condiment to make this meal taste better; compliments to the chef. Both food and service were phenomenal. I’d absolutely stop here again ❤️

Food was mostly old, dinner entrees and I would assume breakfast is significantly better seeing you can’t batch too much of it. Got a side of hot peppers to at were definitely bad. The mashed potatoes were old and crusty, almost in clumps. The burger was over cooked, dry and flavorless. All I’m saying is if you wanna earn the five stars ✨ stick to breakfast, sometimes a large menu is more a problem than a plus. I’m not impressed with a place that gives big portions if they are sub par. Politely, it made me quite sick.
