Been wanting to pay this place a visit for a while. The food and service did not disappoint. We came in during lunch hours and were some of the first customers, so the service was very speedy. The server apologized for the wait which couldn't have been more than a few minutes, she was very attentive and really nice. I ordered the filet mignon hibachi and decided to get a california roll as well, both of which were amazingly delicious and served in a very short time frame. I would definitely come here again and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some different asian cuisine in the area.

Created this account purely to give this place a review as I’m bored in the hotel room, this place is amazing!!! Great value and my steak and shrimp was cooked perfectly! Tough to keep the steak a little rare when doing this but the chef nailed it, will be a repeat customer when in town!!!

First off, let me say WOW. The food was amazing. The sushi was very authentic and the hibachi was perfect. but the service was even better. I have not been taken care of in a restaurant like I was on Friday night from Lexi. She was kind, attentive, and really knows her stuff. My wife and I had many questions as it was our first time in and she knew the answers without skipping a beat. You can tell she really enjoys her job and she does it exceptionally. We don’t live in town but will definitely be back frequently.

This place is excellent. My favorite sushi place in the Illinois valley by far. My boyfriend loves the Niku roll and I also love it. So amazing. Huge proportions for a great price. The sushi is amazing, I would recommend the niku roll or the shrimp tempura roll. Both very big and very filling rolls. Absolutely amazing. The chicken hibachi is also SO GOOD. The chicken is perfectly cooked and the sauce they use is TOP TEIR. The vegetables are fully cooked and oh my gosh the fried rice is honestly the best i have ever had, perfectly seasoned like. perfectly. also perfectly cooked. Very good proportions also. I have tried atleast 5 different sushi rolls here and I have never had any complaints.

100% recommend! The person we spoke to was very sweet and made sure my gluten free friend had access to gluten free soy sauce. We loved the: chicken hibachi, edamame, salmon balls, chicken katsu rice bowl, and our sushi!

Listen, I am very forgiving when it comes to reviews. If I had any self respect, I'd be giving this fewer stars, but I have a kind soul and I am merciful. The waitress whose name I cannot recall served me the worst margarita I have ever had, then a room temperature beer. She did not know the menu, and did not have silverware or plates on the table, even after we received our food. We just sat there and had to stare at it. When our main course showed up, there was a bottlecap on my plate? Hello? I didn't make a fuss, but maybe I should've. Food is overpriced and not good. Service is bad. Not going back.
