I was blown away by the young man working 11/3/24 He handed me my coffee and told me it was on him for making me wait so long. I didn't feel I waited too terribly long and offered to pay but he refused. That's awesome customer service! Thank you!

I hate to leave negative reviews but itās beyond time I leave some feedback on this location. I have a routine of going to this Starbucks about 3 mornings per week. After I get done at my gym across the road I place my order before I leave the parking lot, then I go through the car wash next to Starbucks, then to Starbucks to pick up my order. Itās not a morning rush time as itās around 9 am when I place my order. Usually it says 5-8 minutes but let me tell you, estimated wait times are basically meaningless at this location. Today for instance my drink was supposed to be ready around 9:07 but I had to sit there until 9:15 waiting, which I could understand if they were busy but they were completely dead! I canāt tell you how many times I have waited 10, 15, even 20 minutes past the estimated wait times for my drink (which by the way is usually a simple cafe latte, flat white or cappuccino nothing complicated). This is not an every so often thing, itās probably one out of 3 times, cannot stress enough the fact that this type of thing is very consistent. The real kicker is that they almost never acknowledge it by saying something like āIām sorry for the wait.ā They give off the vibe that they really donāt care if you have a bad experience here. If you are driving down 80 do yourself a favor and keep going to the Peru location if youāre heading west or Morris if youāre heading east. If you are looking for a better cofffee experience in Ottawa I would try Jeremiah Joeās which is where I would rather go, I just liked the convenience of this being right across the road from my gym. The only reason I gave two stars instead of 1 is that there are a couple of employees that seem like they care, I believe one of their names is Lucas. I do hope they can turn things around here as you can see from the reviews their mobile order wait times are definitely an issue so they should do something to address this problem. I will definitely come back and change my review if they do improve things.

Probably the worst service I have ever experienced. Waited over 30 minutes in the store and the coffee was made poorly. Was not even filled up all the way. The worker was rude and not considerate of people waiting.
Nasty table and chairs and floor food in the chairs food on the floor and tables and the restroom š» Nasty I was there for my second interview and I have to do a drug test in there Nasty bathroom I was not very happy first visit and last visit
