Te beer: 5 stars all around. Great variety and the flight was delicous and a nice presentation. I thoroughly enjoy when they mark the names so I know what I am drinking and not guessing.

The food was 3 stars. It was filling and good but nothing that blew my socks off. The fish and chips were basic and the fish came out warm and not hot. It didn't have the crispy outside you associate with fish and chips.

I do recommend the cheese curds and beer.

Not a bad beer on the menu and the food was excellent! Transpacific IPA was a favorite amongst my friends and I but it’s seasonal.

The burger was amazing. It was a limited time burger and the drink I had was the Campfire Brew. It was delicious you really tasted the chocolate in it. I love chocolate so it had such an amazing flavor And it was my birthday so my friends requested a cookie cake with ice cream that was amazing as well! I would absolutely recommend this place! I loved it.

Disappointed with our visit. The BBQ Brewmaster Burger was overcooked and dry, and the chicken breast on the Chicken Club was very thin - barely half an inch - and also dry. The $6 mashed potatoes were bland, and the portion was very small - maybe three small scoops at most. For the price, we expected better quality and flavor.

I went here yesterday because I’m in town for the Ledgestone Disc Golf Tournament. I really enjoyed my experience. The food was good, the staff were excellent, and had fast service. I also want to express my gratitude for the military discount. It was the most generous discount I’ve ever received. I felt very appreciated for my service. Thanks for the great experience! Highly recommend!

Don't bother ordering the cauliflower appetizer, it was 3 florets for $15

Found this place while in Ottawa on vacation. Great Happy Hour options, food and drinks (beer and cocktails were both had), and our waitress Emily was phenomenal! We enjoyed it so much that we came again two days later and had more scrumptious food. If we ever find ourselves back here, they will be our 1st stop.

This trip happened due to bad weather cancelling an outdoor festival. We stopped in and were geeeted by Craig. A very energetic and friendly man who seemed like he wanted to make our stay memorable. He introduced use to Asley who was amazing. If you are in Ottawa, stop by this place for some fantastic eats and drinks.

Currently eating outside and just have to say the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and my food and drinks hit the spot. Im not from around here but will definitely come back when im in the area again

Had a reservation for 12:45, got seated 10 minutes later. An hour later we finally got our appetizer, and in the span of that hour, we saw our waitress twice. They weren’t even busy. Then finally an hour later we got our actual food, with 2/6 orders being correct. Multiple tables had their food before us and when trying to ask why, the manager didn’t really answer the question and wouldn’t let me speak. Would not recommend going again.

Very impressed with my first experience here. I had a cup of coffee (which was surprisingly good) followed by the “Halfway to Nashville” chicken sandwich. It was far better than I expected in all aspects - flavor, portions, price etc. finished the night sipping my coffee on the rooftop while enjoying the view and fresh air. Everyone i interacted with was friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to both Austin and Destiny on bar duty that night, both of whom served me and made me feel like a regular! Well done all around to everyone at Tangled Roots. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about checking out this great restaurant on the square!

Pricey !! $18 for 2 small beers !! This isn’t Chicago

Would not recommend, burnt biscuits, horrible margaritas, and the regular food was just meh. Would have liked a beer but they didn't give us a beer menu, slow service.

Great Staff and beers!! Have visited 2 days in a row while in the area. Food is great as well! My husband (a veteran), was given 50% off his meal and pop. Very generous! Thanks to the amazing staff and their philosophy! Will recommend and return!
