We just had a surprise party here with 30 guests. Staff and food were excellent. Many compliments from our friends who attended the party. Definitely would recommend!!!
Great service, great food, nice atmosphere, and outstanding craft beer.
Great food and our server Jessica was amazing! Really friendly and funny. Great location and atmosphere too.
Pretty solid food, and their in-house beers are good enough. But getting the bill with a "credit card surcharge" tacked on, at any restaurant, *especially* one with multiple locations, almost always means I won't return.
Very good brunch stop to refuel at after hiking at Starved Rock State Park
We had a baby shower in the private event room on 2/15. Carrie P was very helpful in the planning of this party with her knowledge of the food choices, bar service and how the room could be set up to make it special. She reviewed the menu and gave us ideas of what works well with this type of event. She took her time with us as we discussed the options. The servers (I'm sorry I can't remember their names) the day of went above and beyond, helping us get things organized, explaining how things would operate, asking if we needed anything, etc. They even took pictures of the decorations which was really appreciated since it was something we overlooked. We could not have been happier with the way things went that day, starting with he meeting with Carrie up until the shower. Everyone commented about how great it was. I highly recommend The Lone Buffalo for your next big event.
Had a great dinner this evening. Parmesan Cod was excellent. Great service by Shannon! Love the atmosphere, craft beer and food.
Subpar food. Be ready for surprise 3% service fee when you get the bill.
We came here on two occasions -- one for dinner and another for drinks and an appetizer. We both enjoyed our cocktails and food. The staff was wonderful, and the ambiance was nice. We were both pleasantly surprised that it was one of the first restaurants in a long while that didn't have loud music playing in the background (thank you!). My one minor misunderstanding appears to be what I vs. the brewery consider "seasoned" fries to mean. I thought it meant garlic, paprika, onion salt, or other herbs, whereas, The Lone Buffalo appears to believe it just means salt. Still, I'd come back!
Went there with my family on Saturday night. Had reservations set up for two months before we got there. Got into an upstairs room . OK the room was extremely cold. Reservations were at 5 o’clock. It took till 540 to get a manager to come up and turn the heat on . Service was extremely poor. They could’ve made more money. Serve us drinks, but they didn’t care. Apologies nothing.

Had the Halfway to Nashville crispy chicken sandwich with fries. I thought the Carolina BBQ sauce on it was delicious. It was a heavy meal, but they have other lighter options.
Save your money eat at McDonald's at least you know what you are getting
It’s fine. The nachos are an abomination of tortilla chips and items that do not belong on nachos. There are a couple good beers but they are mostly cloying. Staff are nice.
Good beer but the food wasn't that good. Pimento cheese dip wasn't what i expected. The pimento didnt come through, the corn wasn't roasted and offered nothing to the dip. The cheese dip itself was also odd. Like a concocted mixture of processed cheeses perhaps? I didn't like the sauce for the chicken parm sandwich. Wayyy to much going on with that and overwhelming with some odd flavor. Perhaps cheese? Pesto was really good though. I got a hot honey peperoni flat bread and it was kind of disappointing. Overall I don't think it was worth the price. For an app, 1 beer, 1 soda, 2 cheap entrees is was just over $70. Also the first 3 or 4 items I ordered were not in stock but we weren't told until I ordered that item. That drives me insane. I've been looking for a good, consistent spot in the area. Still haven't found one.
This brew pub has a great atmosphere and really good food. The fried cauliflower came out very quickly and was very hot. Like nuclear energy hot. Once it cooled down, the bites were tasty.
My burger was fantastic. It was loaded with good fixins and was very flavorful.
The service was just OK. Our server was MIA for large chunks of time. My reviews have been like a broken record lately. It's really hard to find good service nowadays. It's kind of a bummer.
Give it a shot. The food is very good.
