Jordan is a GREAT waitress! Always on the ball and willing to go the extra mile. But, you can't really go wrong. Ashley and Lilly, are A+ as well. Great food. The place is always clean and inviting. I eat there at least once a week never disappointed.

Today was my 67th Birthday, and this is our third time coming to The Lone Buffalo. The first time we ate here which was over a year ago, the food was horrible. We thought we would give it a second chance and the second time, the food was very good. Today was our third time, and we spent over $85.00 and the food was awful. I can't cook to save my life, but I can make better food than what I ate today. My stuffed mushrooms were terrible, and without any flavor. My wife had a salad, which was very soggy. My son had the Short Rib & Bone Marrow, another dish with no flavor. My son also had the Chili as an appetizer which was runny and awful. I will say that the service and atmosphere was excellent. My one star rating is really reflective of the food, and the money we had to waste today. I knew we should have gone to the Uptown Grill.

It was amazing!! Had a girls trip and went there for supper one night and brunch the next. Delicious food, great drinks and such kind staff. The GM came out and talked to us for a while. Very personable and welcoming!

I had the parmesan cod, brussels sprouts appetizer, and the bison chili. I absolutely loved all of it. I have not had fish this good, out side of Organ and California cost restaurants. Very creative food menu and great drink options as well. I can’t say enough about the great atmosphere here. The Host up front was very friendly and our waitress, Marybeth was top notch, even with a busy time of day she was quick, professional and polite. She had great recommendations and was very prompt with food, drinks and removing dishes. This is a must try restaurant if you have not been.

We were in town to hike around Starved Rick and stopped here for an early dinner. And we’re so happy we did! Started with a draft of Campfire Flannel that had hints of caramel. My wife had the Winter Glazed Pork Chops (she gave me her brussel sprouts - her loss!) while I had to Ribeye. Both were quite tasty and probably the best meal we’ve had so far this year.If we didn’t live 2 hours away, we’d return soon. But next time we’re in the area, we’re stopping by!

Loved this local Brewery in Ottawa! All the brews in the place are made in house and did not disappoint! I had ordered a flight of beers and all 4 of the flavors were delicous! The wings and butter I had were superb too! I really wanted a 4 pack of this one dark beer I loved and lucky enough they had a tasting room that had that beer in a 4 pack! Only sad part is I live in Chicago so very sad I won’t be able to get another 4 pack! Highly recommend this local brewery!

Best Burger I’ve ever had! I was there for lunch 2 years ago after visiting starved rock state park. I’m always nervous to try a place for the second time with such a great memory of the taste. My son and I drove one hour to try the burger again and it was Amazing! Their root beer and house chips are fantastic as well. For dessert we had the cookie skillet and it rocked! John was our server and you can tell he loves this place and what he does. Happy and upbeat and super friendly. I wish there were more like him and his passion. He truly made for a great dining experience. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re visiting starved rock or just want to try the world’s best burger!!!
