We ordered hot and sour soup, which was delicious. The salad is great. The curry chicken was wonderful. Everything was great and the spicy noodles. Everything was great. We go there again. Prices are not that bad. I

Prior to covid this was the best food in town. Sadly, the quality is not consistent now. Less veggies and sometimes weak sauce, almost thinned too much. I pray things change back for the better soon.
Place are closed from August 13 to September 1st
The Thai Cafe is such a a cute restaurant! The food is immaculate! 😋 I have tried the Curry is good, the rice is perfect, the teas are awesome, the Pad Thai is a banger, and the Pho is a delight to have. 10/10 love this place. I haven't had a bad meal here!

I read the bad reviews but still gave this place a try—big mistake!!!!!
Boiled beef with awful texture, watery curry clearly thinned to cut costs, and weird, inauthentic toppings. I regret wasting my money and time here. Hard to believe this place has been open for 20 years—this town deserves better.

Sometimes closed at 6-630 lol
It's not the best Thai food, but it's certainly the best in the middle of nowhere, Illinois. The service was very good.
Small cute place. Delicious food, lovely service. Can’t believe it’s taken me three years of living here to try this place.

We went in for lunch on 01/06/25. We found street parking in front of the restaurant. Place is small but decent. We ordered fried wanton and shrimp dumplings and they were nice. For entrees, we ordered chicken fried rice and sautéed chicken and vegetables with garlic. Unfortunately, both entrees we extremely salty. We informed the lady but she said that is how they make their food. No apology or empathy at a minimum. We had to leave our food after paying over $45. I will surely not go back ever .

My wife and I both had variants of fried rice for take-out. My spicy fried rice with tofu had good flavor, but unfortunately, very few vegetables. And the tofu wasn't fried, as I would have expected. I hope Thai Cafe will add more veggies to their foods to balance out the bulk of the rice.
Since we did take-out, I cannot comment on the atmosphere or service. But, the staff was friendly when we picked up our take-out.

The food was absolutely delicious! So glad to not have to drive an hour away for quality pho, and the crab Rangoon was great too
