Excellent place! Unbelievably great seafood, seemingly in the middle of small town far away from any big city. Food was fresh, cooked perfectly, and seasoned right. Service was excellent and attentive. Highly recommend this place!
I ordered the shrimp & grits and honestly it was just OK. Next time I would try a catch of the day - maybe that would be better. The desserts were delicious tho!

The food here is always amazing. I've yet to have anything here I don't love. That said, tonight Bethany elevated what was already a consistently wonderful experience. She's a ture treasure in a trove of already great talent they've hired (and notably kept for a long time). It's a big deal to make great food. It's a huge deal to have happy and positive staff who makes us feel welcome and happy. 10/10!

I made reservations for Valentine’s Day with the expectation of eating seafood. When we were seated, the waitress told us of a few sold out seafood items-understandable. We then made 3 attempts to order and each time that item was also sold out. The only seafood entree left on the menu at point was king crab. We decided on appetizers and leaving. This was definitely a disappointing experience to have Valentine Day reservations at a seafood restaurant that ran out of almost all seafood. We won’t be coming back.

Food was good. Waitress was nice. Small place but atmosphere was nice. Prices were a little high. But, my bill was under 100$ and I got 3 drinks, an appetizer and main meal which was something that I could not get anywhere else.

I was expecting a more diverse seafood menu. Food was well seasoned and flavorful. Service was excellent.

This is my go to spot in Ottawa. My husband and I have never been disappointed by this place. The owners are incredibly nice, the service is fantastic, and dinner is easily one of my favorites I've ever had... from anywhere. The petite filet gorgonzola with lobster tail, cheese grits, and brussel sprouts are absolutely perfect. My husband loves their crabcakes. Desserts such as brown butter pineapple cake and gelato are wondeful. We are lucky to have a place like this in town.

The owner is beyond rude!! The only reason it has a one star rating is because I have to mark something. Myself and 2 girlfriends went to dinner here on Friday night. We each had our own ticket for our meals and left a minimum of 20% tip each. Which was $43 total. As we are leaving the owner John stopped one of my friends and starts berating her about her tip!! We were absolutely puzzled and shocked that he would approach her in that manner knowing we all had left a minimum of 20% tip on our bills. We will NEVER step foot back in that restaurant!! Clearly he can't read (or add) a receipt where the tip is included!!

You cannot order anything but a fantastic dish! Everything made is newer to my pallet and has made me enjoy ordering new dishes! Flawless cooks, freaidly greetings from lady at front perfect restaurant. Thank you for bringing a place to make Ottawa proud!
Absolutely AMAZING food and atmosphere. The service by Tricia was outstanding and enthusiastic. The bartender was also a super friendly guy. We have been wanting to try this place and finally just made a reservation at the last minute. The nautical decor is the first thing that caught my eye. Love the ceiling lights. The raw oysters were good. I did not like the large Chesapeake ones much but the smaller beusoleill ones are tasty. The best thing I tasted was the shrimp and cheese grits OH MY GOSH a party for my taste buds. It is super rich but wow! I also tried a bite of my brother's Lump crab sushi bowl. Very fresh. My husband got lobster curry which I didn't care for as I am not a curry fan but he inhaled it. I didn't think the prices were too outrageous. Well worth the visit.
