What a delight! While on a Friday to Saturday visit to Ottawa, we discovered French Press. Decor and atmosphere: cozy, comfortable, pretty. Staff: attentive and answered our every question. The food: SUPERB! We enjoyed Italian soda(peach) and fresh made lemonade, delicious Quiche Lorraine and the best Ratatouille I've ever tasted (served in a crepe). Very nice and cutesy restaurant. I ate the quiche with bacon, normalized onions and feta cheese. The Loraine, was the nane of the dish. best quiche I have had in years. The texture was nice and very fulfilling.

A very unpretentious specialty restaurant. The food is excellent, hot, and served timely. The menu is quite different from what you will find in most Illinois towns away from Chicago and this is not Cracker Barrel. Service was excellent from a personable woman who answered questions and gave explanations. Thankfully, this is an adult restaurant. Children will be bored and they’re not likely to want anything on the menu. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 hour brunch today....
