We had an excellent dinner. I'm so glad that we stopped in. Their website said that their food was worth the drive. I have to agree. Great food with great service in a nice dining room. We will be back.
Amazing filet 10/10
We travel just over an hour to get there. Food is great, staff treats you like your family. Atmosphere is nice, intimate and comfortable. Make the trip and you'll do it over and over!
Cozy little steakhouse but oddly not busy on a Saturday night. My girlfriend and I decided to try it last night. This food was not worth the price. If I spend $60 on a steak I shouldn't need steak sauce to get through it. I paid $5 for mushrooms that were disgusting, and we tried the buffalo fried cauliflower also disgusting. Calamari was great though. So when you get a steak you get a side of sautéed onions, mine looked boiled and tasted so. So the biggest issue was price for quality for me in now way was 2 appetizers 4 drinks steak and steak medallian pasta worth $260. We will be trying this place one more time for the more budget friendly items on the menu.
We were celebrating a birthday with family. The food was fantastic and the service was great. This is definitely a gem in the heart of Ottawa.
Our waitress Tyler he was so amazing I love his vibe
My 1st experience here was not bad. Full slab of ribs was great with French fries. Spinach salad was tasty. 2nd time here was my last time eating at this place. The waitress can be over attentive. There was awkward silence in the main dining room. The bread for my sandwich was dry. She handed us our to go containers as we were still eating. $19 sandwich, $22 entree, and two sodas comes out to $58 somehow. Plus left a tip so I felt overcharged. Woodys is no fine dining place, it’s mediocre.
Went for dinner with my wife on a very busy night but the food and service for very good. The waiter was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and we loved the way the desserts were presented to us
We had a party tonight of 25 and it was very unorganized!! Didn’t get my fries till my food was about gone!! Another Persons food was Cold!! Lots more stuff that wasn’t good at all! Lastly we all had to wait for our checks for about half hour afterwards standing by the bar!! Terrible Experience!!!

Me and my partner came here 10 minutes before closing, and we had an outstanding experience. Even though they were closing in 10 minutes, they still accepted us and gave us the same service as someone who would have came in during normal hours. We had the opportunity to have the waitress, Jackie. I’m the type to be very clueless on the drink and food menu, so I followed her suggestions, and we had delicious food, and a wonderful experience. From the drink, appetizer, and down to the main course, we were satisfied. Jackie was very sweet, positive, and outgoing. If you’re looking for a good fresh meal, I would go here.
1st impression, older steakhouse kept up nicely. Seated in the dinning room which has some interesting decor. The tables have linen clothes and silverware wrapped in linen napkins. Not bad at all. Looking over the menu there's a really adequate selection of dinners to fit anyone's taste. Order placed and a short time later the salads were delivered in a small shallow bowl with homemade dressings. This is where I kind lost hope in the place. I unwrapped the silverware from the linen to find generic, very cheap sharp edged utensils. Worse that you get from a buffet line. For an upscale restaurant, this is a major negative failure on they're part. I even said something to the waitress and asked to talk with a manager. Never happened. Food arrives and presentation was nice. Back on track to enjoy the meal using uncomfortable silverware, that didn't last long, hit by way to much salt in the dinner. Big disappointment and honestly cannot recommend this location to anyone based on my experience and lack of management interest to talk with me.

Had dinner at Woodys. Vibe was great. Baked French onion was fantastic! Salad was good. Steak was cooked how I ordered and was tasty! Besides prices be a bit on the high side, I really liked Woodys and would go back.

Worst place ever.
Why bring me a dish of butter and leave it work nothing else?
If previous customers are complaining about the coke being flat, why bring me a flat coke and say we are working on it?
Why paint a black line on the wall as if its a wall rail?
Why Have candles, all tilted and leaning? Why have candles on the wall at all since they are not lit?
Why have a drop ceiling? Painting it black didn't make it invisible. Do you think the customers are stupid?
Is it shrimp spaghetti when it only has 3 small shrimp?
Why is it so dark? You want to claim there was more shrimp, you just can't see it in the dark?
Why do you price things like you are a 5 star Chicago fine restaurant when you are just a darkroom with bad taste in music.
Where was the garlic, the cheese, the pepper grinder?
Box my own food? What fine diner gives you styrofoam boxes to fill yourself?
2$ meal, $2 service, 1$ atmosphere... Like a bad haunted house, dark, loud and fake.
