Nice and cute in a strip mall close to the cutting theatre in palatine. My friend and I stopped for a quick bite before a comedy show and enjoyed the food but the service slow as hell and we ended up missing 15 mins of the show. The sauce on calamari was very flavorful and delicious with hints of saffron., mussels were very sandy, not fun!The wines were pretty good and well paired with our seafood. I may come back if ever in the area.

Our dining experience at this downtown Palatine gem was nothing short of excellent, offering a delightful plunge into Argentine cuisine. We savored the "Parrillada De Carne," a lavish platter brimming with an assortment of succulent grilled meats and vegetables that was a feast for the senses. Starting with the empanadas, each appetizer was a taste of culinary heaven, perfectly whetting our appetite for the main course. The quantity was generous enough to satisfy Jessica and I, with leftovers to enjoy later. Every dish was a hit, bursting with authentic flavors. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was impressively prompt and attentive. A must-visit for anyone looking to explore the rich tastes of Argentina in the heart of Palatine.

Love this little gem in downtown palatine. I always get the empanadas when I go. Other family fan favorites are the Diablo chicken and all the pizzas. Good quality food.

This place is disrespectful. Just by telling you that they call that chimichurri. Zero knowledge about Argentine food. They put what on top of the meat? Have you ever eaten a grill from that country in your life? The only thing they have that is Argentinian is the place, old, deteriorated and dirty. Bad idea about what Argentine food is.

Calamari was not cleaned properly. Salmon was on the dry side and tough. Meat was not digestible. Horrible and expensive dinners. Service slow. So looking forward to the experience. Won't return. So disappointed. 20% service charge was added on. Couldn't do separate checks. Very confusing Menu. Not recommending.

We ordered Parrillada de pesccados it cost $79.00. It was mostly salmon, topped with roasted vegetables, mostly carrots, peppers, zucchini, eggplant, a few shrimp, a few mussels & unclean calamari. One of us order filet never had such tough, stringy” filet”. It was awful, we ordered a second glass of wine, a second drink & a glass of water, never got it. Would never go back there.

Just ordered food via doordash . 1 item was missing. All food was cold. Prosciutto and Arugula pizza was with regular ham instead of Prosciutto, arugula was not fresh . Attaching pictures. Would not recommend to anyone.

This place is ok. That's about it. Empty when we arrived save for one table. Service was pretty prompt as expected, but it got crowded for dinner and then was infrequent, which was ok since we didn't need much. We got the baked goat cheese appetizer which was good - nothing special here - tomato and goat cheese with tostini. I ordered the spinach gnocchi and my friend ordered the petit salmon (salad and seared salmon). The gnocchi was fine, soft...and that's as much as I can recall about it. My friend didn't want the salmon so we traded. The salad was pretty bland, I don't remember it having any dressing. It's just your average greens, onions, maybe tomato? The salmon was undercooked. WAY undercooked. It tasted watery. Frankly cold in the middle. I ate around the sides and left most of it. I ordered two margaritas and felt nothing so they're almost no alcohol in them - they mentioned they "just got strawberry margaritas" which makes me think it's some kind of mix they dump in a glass. It was sweeter than any marg I've had before. Basically, it was ok and that's it. Not very memorable. There's not a ton of space inside and they did get really busy a little after we got there, so plan ahead or come early if you wanna try for yourself.

5 Star Review for this local gem in downtown Palatine. The atmosphere is very cozy and charming. The menu options are unique and offers a broad range of options. This was the second trip and the food is absolutely delicious. The portions are very generous. This time we ordered a chopped salad and fresh made pizza. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. During the first visit, we each ordered delicious pasta dishes and also brought some home. Highly recommend - and you won't be disappointed!!

Ordered the ribeye. It looked more like a sandwich steak as it was only 1/4 thick. Less than teaspoon of chimichurri on top. Asked for more Chimichurri and had to pay an additional 1.50 for the extra. We were a party of 5. The menu clearly states 18% gratuity added for parties of 6 or more. They added a 20% service charge to the bill, plus the credit print out had a line for additional tip. I could have brought it up with the server but given no one in the group was satisfied with their meal we knew we would never go back. So we paid the 20% with no additional tip and left.
