Wonderful good brunch food. Small place so fills up quickly
This place is great. The servers are super attentive and nice. The food is amazing, it’s consistently good and the coffee is amazing. Good price for the quality of food and service provided.

I’ve lived in Palatine for almost 10 years and usually go to a chain restaurant for breakfast like First Watch or Brunch Cafe. Today I decided that I wanted to try a local spot that I’ve never been to before and I definitely understand why I stick to the chain restaurants. I ordered the pancake and egg breakfast for my kids to share and it came with a piece of bacon that was completely burnt and almost inedible. I then had to get up and ask the server for a new piece because he never made an attempt to come and check on us after dropping the food off. Then as I was cutting into my chorizo Benedict to take my first bite I noticed a short, straight black hair sitting right on top of the egg. I again had to get up and go bring my plate to the server and let him know that there was a hair in my food. A couple minutes later he came back with a new piece of bacon and the same plate that I had handed to him. They simply took off the hair and tried to give me my plate back and I then explained for a second time that there was a hair in my actual food. Absolutely nothing redeeming that would make me want to come back. My 1 year old didn’t even eat because she didn’t like anything and this girl eats EVERYTHING.

I ordered a egg and sausage breakfast burrito and a side of biscuits and gravy. The eggs were SO over cooked in the burrito and were heavily under seasoned. The potatos were very basic but fine.
The biscuits were fluffy and delicious and the gravy was alright if a little bland, but the ratio to biscuits and gravy was way off.
Maybe it's because I ordered it via Uber eats? Either way I don't think I'd order from here again.

The food is still ok, not great or special, but given the service and atmosphere, overall not worth future visits.

Restaurantji Recommends
Had an unexpectedly good breakfast at this small restaurant (in a former life was told it was originally a Dairy Queen). We sat outside, had a very efficient waitress and quick service. Breakfast was good, there was an extensive menu with lots of options. Our food came out quickly and they made sure we were taken care of. It was a good experience and we will be back.
Nice little diner with plenty of options. Server was friendly and flow was decent. Can get crowded as it is a small dining room.

Love this place combo #2 My favorite service 100%
Food was decent but service was HORRIBLE. Wouldn't recommend coming due to the bad service as you can get the same quality food anywhere else.
