Capri Deli has been on our list for over a year but we just visited recently as we were in the area! It's a little piece of Italy in the northern Suburbs. We visited on an early weekend afternoon and there were only a couple of other people in the restaurant. We ordered an Italian sub and a focaccia sandwich with a drink. The order was ready in about 2 minutes and the portions were HUGE.

The Italian sub was absolutely delicious and was exactly what you would expect from an Italian sub. Nice, thick pieces of meat layered and thick slices of cheese too. It wasn't drenched in oil to the point where the bread was falling apart, it was the perfect amount. The focaccia with prosciutto came with provolone and other toppings and was also delicious. For the price, I don't know why you would ever go to a fast food sub restaurant.

This is our go to spot in Palatine now.

Parking: Decent sized parking lot shared with other small businesses in the little strip mall the restaurant is located in.

I'm a vert pickey Italian submarine sandwich fan I thought the Italian submarine was weak. I get a 100% better Italian submarine at Vinis pizza in palatine

The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I had slices of pizza and wow, they were enormous!! They also were very good flavorwise and the crust was perfect! The cannoli were some of the best we ever had! We highly recommend this place for a fantastic Italian meal.

I usually order delivery. I've never been disappointed. I've tried their sandwiches, chicken noodle soup and their Italian dishes. All excellent.

My Grub hub order got picked up by someone else. Capri remade it for me despite getting burned. That's service I appreciate and when I get home I get some terrific food.

No frills type of deli. The focaccia sandwich is a must try. Pizza is ok. I've had very little of the rest of the menu.

Came across this gem when recommended by a friend. Went out of my way to try something new and the person taking my order (I would assume the owner but if not kudos to his employees for being so great) was more than patient and even helpful in guiding me on what would be nice for what I was looking for. Aside from the food it self actually being delicious, the owner was really nice and made small talk, we laughed a bit during short conversation, and was just a really genuine person. Would recommend 10/10 times and I’ll be back 100% with more friends for them to try this place out.

I love the Deli and the food is great and the staff is great! I was in yesterday with my husband and the woman taking the orders was rude and when asked to have a carryout container made it so difficult with the process. She asked what size container and I showed her with my hands and she asked to see my food because what I was telling her was not adequate enough. She lacks people skills and is not friendly.

I've been coming here for many years. And each time i always leave with a smile. If your looking for a real nice Italian deli sandwich place, this is a great spot. I highly recommend the capri or Italian on focaccia bread. Their hot sandwiches and pizza slices(which are enormous) are also tasty too. But my favorite is the capri special on their homemade focaccia bread. The quality of the meats is also A+

This place is awesome. The focaccia bread is amazing. Everything is super fresh and tasty. I haven't tried their pizza but absolutely love the sandwiches. We've gotten the Capri special and Italian sub on focaccia and it hits the spot. The folks in there are always super kind. Definitely one of the best sandwiches around.
