Kept meaning to stop in since this place it's so close to home. Finally went over for the first time for some apps on Sunday, and we were very pleased. Sat in the bar area and had a few drinks as well. Very nice family atmosphere with good bar food and excellent service. Recommend the sampler platter and the large pretzel. Now that we finally made it over, we will definitely come back again to try the main menu.
My husband and I love going to the Donkey! They have a comfortable atmosphere for chatting and hanging out, I know I am one of the younger patrons to frequent here for “bar hangouts” but we enjoy the atmosphere here so much better than the louder bars. They have adult gaming, but also have a family atmosphere if you come to eat with children! The food is always good, I’ve never not finished what I’ve ordered! The servers and bartenders? I love all of them! For a while my husband and I were going so regularly that one of the bartenders had memorized my drink preferences 🥹 we love spending time here and love how friendly and helpful the staff always are! They often can seat us/ or we seat ourselves right away but they can be busy on the weekends!

The people who work at this establishment are rude, look pissed off that they have to wait on you unless your a regular patron. This is my opinion being there only one day. Maybe I came on a day where every employee that was working there while I was there was having a bad day.

My husband and I love going to the Donkey!
