Warm atmosphere I would describe as Vintage, Chicago, Local, Cozy. Pizza was great. Great family restaurant with nice waitstaff. Clean bathrooms. Only request would be to offer kid friendly beverages like milk and juice.

We went on a super busy Friday night. Got a table right away before it got super busy. Pizza was delicious. I love how rustic and old the place is. The seats and booths are all wooden which is really cool to the original JJ Twigs.

I recently had lunch at the Original JJ Twigs on NW Hwy in Palatine.
The medium sized Hawaiin Pizza (BBQ sauce, pineapple chunks and ham) was delicious. Service was friendly.
Two parts of my visit I didn't enjoy (which costs them one star each):
1. The pizza took a very long time to make, around 45-ish minutes. When we came into the restaurant on a Friday at noon, we were the only customers there. Unless JJ does something...
