Kimpro sushi really impressed us!! When we went, the staff was just one guy doing everything— service was still great, and he checked on us a couple times. He was making the food, making the in house and take out orders, serving the tables, cleaning up, everything. The rolls were great, rice and seaweed was excellent. Flavors were excellent. Appetizers were larger portions than we expected. We will be back!

I’ve been here quite a few times and I think it’s the best sushi place in Palatine. Good portions on the entrees, and excellent selection in roll variety. Plus all the things you can think of in between. They have beer, soju, sake to choose from. Just no cocktails. Def worth a try

By far my favorite sushi restaurant in Northwest suburbs!! Delicious and fresh sushi with good portions and reasonable pricing. There are many combos and deluxe boxes to choose from. My go to order is maki combo (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) with crab rangoons. I also highly recommend the sushi platter appetizer. Staff is always friendly.

Food was very fresh. Lots of great menu choices! I love that they put the raw fish items in red on the menu! Prices were reasonable and the party platters look great! We will be back!

Not being a sushi guy, I ordered the chicken teriyaki from the large list of entrees. The sauce was excellent. Chef Brian explained the flavor balance of this Japanses style dish to me. The miso soup served as an appetizer was also really good. Portion was huge and the atmoshere is very nice. I will certainly return and will tell folks to seek out this great place for excellent Asian cuisine.

This is my fourth time here, and I've enjoyed the food every time. I had the lunch buffet all four times, which included appetizers, nigiri, and rolls. The rice was especially delicious, the fish and other ingredients were fresh, and the service was very friendly.

We visited this sushi restaurant and were very impressed. The rolls were fresh and tasty, especially the Philadelphia — the salmon was high quality and the cream cheese perfectly balanced. The staff was attentive and polite, and the service was quick. The atmosphere is cozy with nice music and clean interiors. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to friends

Hidden gem in Palatine for fresh sushi. Wide variety of rolls and entrees for non-sushi eaters. Very reasonable prices. Server was attentive and helpful

Delicious meal! Had spicy tuna, sweet potato, spicy California and shrimp tempura roll. Agedashi was the best paired with hot sake. Restaurants is big and spacious. Service was good, priced decent. Will be back.
