Very good polish cuisine.
Tasty and fresh food.
Everybody should try their sourdough bread.

It is troubling that the owners don't take any crtisizm and seem to spend all their energy on offending the customer back, rather than trying to fix the dish they serve. They should not be in the food service business with that disrespectful attitude. Their 'mushroom soup'' tasted like an uncooked, warm water with milk and flour and some uncooked mushrooms. All prepared in 3 minutes. You can not defend something like that. It is a hideous lack of respect for your customers, and the owner who responded to my review is an immature, rude, big headed blogger, not a cook. They act like they own a store along with it's reviews. Serve a decent soup, at least, and I'll give you a good review instead of bullying your shoppers and serving fake soup.

My heritage is 1/2 Polish Jewish 1/2 Russian Jewish. I went to your grand opening celebration. I think a couple years ago? Me/wife enjoyed everything. Don’t know why, but haven’t been back since. Glad to see article. We’ll be back tomorrow.

Excellent, tasty food. I bought 10 different foods from the deli and all were very tasty. Large, nice selection. Friendly helpful workers. I wish I lived closer I would shop here every week. I would serve anything I bought from here to guests. Go here you will not be disappointed!!

Unreliable.Very often they're selling old bread without any notice. This is America and I'm still secretly pushed yesterday's bread?? The bread that's packaged on top of the cookie deli screen is old, and they put no sign, so petty! My wife is American and was sold old bread twice. She doesn't feel comfortable going alone anymore. In Bulgaria for example today's bread is sold at 50% at the end of the day. Very often they don't have the nice country bread. It happens that I go there and they closed early with a hand written sign hanging on the door. I don't think they respect their patrons. Even for our eastern European standards, this is too low! Kokatek will be my last plane on my shopping list. The girls that run it are probably the only thing keeping the place going, the owner needs to start prioritizing his customers first.

The fresh breads are unreal. The deli meat was delicious, the perogies were solid but I wouldn't grab the meat ones again. Dessert options looked amazing.

The best bakery in the area. The casseroles are the best of the world, I haven't eaten better ones even in Poland.

I love this store. The prepared foods are always delicious, 5 star service, woman owned, great prices, plus - you feel like you're in an adorable market in a quaint eastern Europe village, not Palacrime, IL.
