Madcatz might have good vibes and friendly people, but the kitchen is a total nightmare. The woman who cooks is constantly sitting at the bar, glued to her phone, touching her face, hair, and mouth — then walks right into the kitchen and starts handling food with those same filthy hands. No handwashing, no gloves, nothing. She’s even on her phone inside the kitchen while prepping food, which makes it even worse. Then she comes right back out to the bar like it’s totally normal.
It’s honestly gross and unacceptable. Management should be embarrassed to let that happen. Come for a drink if you must, but do yourself a favor — don’t eat anything here. Ever.

Madcats opened in 2021 and has had many events. As I type, the most recent was a Fleetwood Mac cover band that did very well. The place is small and was packed. People really enjoyed. There's even a small dancing area up front. The food and drink are fine. Servers work hard. There's a section where you can't really see the stage (about 25% of the inside area) though.

I've always enjoy Madcats meals since they've opened and the chef specials have always been out of the park yum. This past weekend was super busy with travel and squeezing in crazy workouts. I've never ordered 2 meals in 1 night but I arrived hungry. Both meals were amazing and I wanted protein with fiber for my recovery meal. I'm looking forward to other dishes on my future visits. The BURGER BOWL was sooo good! Spring greens, pickles and tomatoes, with a spicy mayo and a giant burger on top! My new fav. Replacing the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich!
