Your regular customers walk around behind the counters, chat with staff in the back room, all while standing at the register for 5 minutes waiting to checkout with 0 staff acknowledgment, or even your regular customers letting you know someone is there… waiting.

We just attended a birthday party at Morkes Chocolates and the kids had a blast. Fantastic idea for an indoor party idea. The kids went home with a whole box of chocolates they handmade themselves! I highly recommend Morkes!

We stopped at Morkes Chocolates and Donuts on our dessert tour of Palatine. The orange muffin was pretty good, though a bit on the dry side. The donut with yum yum cream had good flavor, but unfortunately didn’t sit well with two people in our group, who later had some stomach trouble we’re fairly sure came from it. The staff and service were delightful, and the shop itself was charming, but overall the donuts were middling. We’d give Morkes three stars for friendliness and presentation, though the quality felt hit or miss.
Got some donuts for first time and will be back for so much more!!!!

Morkes Chocolates is one of our favorite spots! Their candy is always fresh and delicious — from classic chocolates to fun seasonal treats, everything is amazing. My children especially love their candy camps; they have so much fun creating their own sweet masterpieces while learning about chocolate. The staff is always kind and welcoming, making every visit special. We’re so lucky to have Morkes in our community!
