The BEST pączki in Chicagoland!!
I eat pączki every year and have been to many Polish stores over the years, the biggest ones and the most popular ones. Trust me, their pączki are simply the THE BEST!!! Just like the ones you eat in Poland, light, fluffy, super fresh....AMAZING!!!

If you want to have Christmas Eve with red borscht that you can't eat, buy it from this store. I don't know what it's made of because I won't name it as it was made, God only knows. Does the borscht have no taste?

Drove from Rockford to pick up some Polish food from this deli. Awesome baked goods, kielbasa, and pierogies. Not the friendliest service for sure. Hardly anyone spoke English so difficult to ask questions. But it was PACKED. Everything we bought was delicious.

I used to live in Palatine and Smakowksi deli was ""my polish" to go place.... I ordered food from here many times for various occasions. This year I ordered turkey for Thanksgiving and drove from Wauconda to pick it up. And it was worth!!!!!!!!!!!! The meat was seasoned very well, juicy and tender!!!!!!!! The staffing was really good too. Maybe a little too peppery for my taste, but still delicious. Two thumbs up👍👍 to Mirek the owner! Thank you !!!!!! Gracjana

Here since 1980 but just discovered how good. I get avocado...perfect. half pound cooked pork loin. Fantastic. Good prices too
