Disclaimer: if it was an option, I'd give this more like 3.5 stars. The ramen wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. I'm not much of a meat eater lately so I ordered the vegetable ramen.

I paid under $15 so I definitely can't complain about the price! And the kid at the counter was great, too.

This is a small, Mom and Pop location serving up sushi, ramen, rice bowls, and noodles. A simple but diverse menu of the dishes makes ordering easy. I had the Spicy Umami Miso Ramen. It's a dish or ground pork, white miso, noodles, veggies, a fish cake, and boiled egg. The broth was flavorful and balanced with mild heat. A welcome addition to the Palatine. The ramen and curry katsu are phenomenal. Excited every cool rainy day to visit and enjoy a meal. Glad to have this place local and hope it stays around for a long time.
