I have been coming here for years and service is always great and consistent! I always bring friends in that also become clients. Fair price, good variety, fresh and delicious! Can’t recommend enough! Staff is friendly and polite. They’re super fast for take-out too.

Jesus, I'm writing this review whilst in the bathroom.
Visited yesterday for lunch. The only raw items I had were spicy tuna and salmon. One of the two caused my diarrhea.
My stomach doesn’t hurt all that bad but it’s like a river flowing.
I would avoid this place.

Tried the AYCE sushi and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Not a ton of different rolls but the rolls that have are your basic favorites.
Definitely worth a try at 17.99.

this food was prolly the best food i have ever put in my mouth. the handroll is genuienly to DIE FOR. And the boston roll truly made me reach my breaking point. the flavor tingeld on my tounge and danced on the buds. and do not get me started on the most delicouis thing ever, the crab rangoons. These rangoons makes me fly and touch the sky. They were truly delectable and the filling and sauce is amazing. I come here with lucy twice a week and we truly love it. Come here if you want the best dining experience ever. sushi para delish. 10/10

If you are SE Asians. Skip this place. I felt being discriminated against by the old lady there. The food is decent, a lot of rice v fish but ok for the price. However, the service was unacceptable. The old lady saw us but completely ignored us. We waited 5 minutes just to be asked about the table (by a different waitress), just for 2, which they had plenty ready. Wait more to even get cups of water. 30 minutes to get our first plate (which we saw sitting at the counter ready for at least 5-10 minutes. (The lady noticed it, checked the tag, then left it there, but we weren't sure it was ours until I saw she finally grabbed it and took it to our table). And then another 45 more minutes for the second. She never stop by to fill the water or ask if we need anything more (unlike all other tables, she even wished them Happy Holidays!) We had to get the different waitress to order our second and for the water. She was quick with the bill though. Just plain rude.

Everything was great overall though the sushi had slightly more rice than I prefer.

The sushi here is delicious and always packaged so you can be sure of the freshness and quality. But the price per person of $25.99 is simply insane. My husband and I counted everything we ate and it turned out that it was less than the amount we had to pay, which was $57.70 WITHOUT TIP. So there is no point in coming to the buffet anymore, because there is no point. I recommend calculating the cost of sushi and rolls on the website before you decide to pay $25.99 for All you can eat

It’s a very popular spot for all-you -can- eat sushi. Sushi are made to order, taste fresh but a bit basic. You cannot see expensive stuff like in Blufish or similar spots, still it’s a very decent choice if you crave Japanese food. They offer buffet style dining for a fixed price, or you can make choices from a regular menu. Even though I went to the restaurant a few times, I prefer their to go sushi. Somehow, sushi to-go tasting a bit different vs. sushi in the restaurant, in my opinion.
The restaurant itself has a casual atmosphere, you cannot go there for a family dinner, casual date, meeting coworkers, etc. It’s located in Palatine just west of Route 53 , at the corner of a strip mall.
The only con I would note is you need to eat whatever you order, cannot take home leftovers. I don’t know what the deal with that but it’s a bit off especially in American culture.
Overall, it’s worth coming to Sushi Para for Japanese food.
