Smile Thai is just fantastic. Sarah provides the BEST service. She makes a point to ask about the most thoughtful details (water with ice or no ice?) and has an amazing memory. If she doesn’t remember your name the next time you visit, she will remember what you ordered. We are vegan and have food allergies, and keep coming back because of the service - though the food is also outstanding. The egg rolls are fresh and crispy - rolled in store not frozen. The tofu has a wonderful texture. Panang noodles are my favorite. This is my favorite restaurant in Palatine.

We tried this place for the first time today and our experience was incredible. The staff were so attentive and caring. They tried to give us the best dining experience. We ordered the drunken noodles and basil fried rice and they were able to accommodate both of our vegetarian preferences. The food came out fast despite the dinner rush and the server constantly checked up on us to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Super great mom & pop shop, cozy environment and the loveliest staff, we will most definitely be back!!

Not sure if Smile Thai bought out Sukho Thai, but we used to DoorDash from Sukho Thai and we really liked it. When we looked up Sukho Thai on DoorDash it showed up as Smile Thai so we decided to try them out. We ordered shrimp pad Thai and Sesame Chicken last night through DoorDash and I’m not gonna lie it was pretty tasteless, like Noodles and Company their pad Thai is more flavorful than this was. I ordered my pad Thai on my order with crusted peanut and somehow they chose to do no peanut as listed on the container. I’m not sure if this is why it would have been so tasteless, but nonetheless we won’t be ordering from here again.
