Urban Counter Palatine

First time stopping by after years of driving past for work, and I can't wait to come back. Not only were the ladies kinda they we quick as well. Got my food an it was phenomenal I got a mushroom burger with Onions rings and a drink. The burger was very very juicy had flavor bursting in each bite and the rings were nice and crunchy also, I would highly recommend anyone to stop in an try them out.

Nice people. Took awhile to get food. Got the mushroom burger medium well. Middle was blood red and dripping. Burger tasted bland.

Not sure why we love this gas station restaurant but my son and I eat here every week before swim class at Harper college. The burgers a enjoyable and the tots are pretty outstanding. Food takes a while to get but it's made fresh.

The milkshake was excellent, but the cheese curd burger and breakfast burrito were not very good. The burger seemed off and the greens it was topped with were not good at all. The cheese curds on it were hardly warm. These college kids need to learn how to cook a good burger. They were very nice, tho, no complaints there, but they were EXTREMELY SLOW. Will not be back.

The black dude that works the night shift is always extremely rude and passive aggressive with my friends and I. He is always disrespectful and making rude remarks and comments towards us for no apparent reason. He makes me not want to go here ever again!

Kid-friendliness: The mini beef or chicken sandwiches would be good for a kids lunch. Treating the kids to a milkshake will make them very happy. Regular ice cream for the shakes are blended not frozen dairy products.

I stopped by this cute place, that is inside this clean ⛽ gas station for a quick bite ?. The prices are reasonable! Wanted originally a salad but got a breakfast cruiser that was good, the ? was crunchy (which next time I want to try it without ?). The kids classic meal ? was tiny but the tater tots (not greasy, soft but well cooked) made it better because it was a bigger size ?.

Very juicy, large burger cooked perfectly. As filling as double burgers from fast food places. Person working there said they open at 6, so I will be back tomorrow for a breakfast burrito!
