Palos Heights - Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

This place is an absolute joke!! I would never ever come to this establishment ever again in my life!!! I called in for pickup, sitting there for over an hour and the girl takes my money and then they say they don't have me in the system!! I never seen such an incompetent business, should be shut down!!!

Two straight times ordering from here where they messed up our order. First time the delivery driver forgot the salad. Instead of going back to get it, they said we could either get cash back or we'd have to drive there and get it.

The second time we ordered boneless wings. They brought the order out and I knew right away they had bones. Called them out on it and the cashier said "yup they're boneless" while looking straight at the bone in wings. Took the meal back to the car, checked it, and they were bone in. They made good on the error but I watched the error unfold right in front of me.

There's definitely something different about management here, hopefully things turn around. (For the owner - not looking for coupons or anything. Just respect the customer and if they call something out take the time to check.)

Can not travel to Chicago without stopping at Lou Malnati’s. I can honestly say I do not care for the carry out options. I love sitting down with one of their deep dish pizzas and a tall cold beer. Can not be better.

I orderd piiiza for family and had people over and party for football and had the delivery time set for 6:00 pm!!! Come 7:450pm and my piiza is still not delivered.!! It’s ridiculous! The worse delivery service ever!

I ordered a medium deep dish pepperoni from here and I was highly disappointed. Pizza burnt a tad bit, I did not ask for well a done pizza. They threw so many pepperonis on the pizza I was disgusted. A thick layer of pepperoni seemed like double the pepperoni. Overall very nasty pizza and I decided to try this one beyond my best judgement. Never again.

Lou's has the best deep dish we've had in the area. We dine in at the 171st & LaGrange facility. I would suggest a separate area for adults there, large family gatherings can be annoying, but tables usually always available.
For take out, we use the 128th & Harlem facility, orders always on time and a wide variety of frozen available. Don't forget the salad! Their dressing is now available for purchase at counter, the BEST!

For the ultimate Lou Malnati's experience, I strongly recommend ordering the large deep dish uncut pizza with a special twist: request it to be buttered crust/uncut - topped with four times the amount of cheese + crumbled sausage and mushrooms. This indulgent creation promises to take your taste buds on a decadent journey through layers of rich flavors and irresistible textures, showcasing the deep root of Lou Malnati's culinary craftsmanship. We had an awful experience with this Lou’s location yesterday. They promised us at least twice that our food could get picked up at a specific time after we emphasized that this was crucial for our family’s lunch plans to work.Well, without any exaggeration at all, our food wasn’t ready until 40 minutes after they promised it would be. When we expressed our frustration with all of this, they simply ignored our concerns. Not only did they never offer to “make things right” in some way, but they refused to even apologize at all. “We were short-staffed” is literally all we got. Simply pathetic!I absolutely love Lou Malnati’s, but I can promise you that I’ll never order from this location again. It’s evident that it’s being run very poorly. I get it - mistakes happen - but this was a complete and utter failure on even the most basic levels of customer service. I expect so much more from anywhere, and especially Lou’s.
