What a great place for some really good and well prepared Sushi. I was given so much food and the Benton box was superb. Hudson the server was on point and the lunch time experience was fantastic. the bus service guys, who rarely get mentioned, were attentive and very very professional. Thanks guys

Beautiful decor inside, nice outdoor patio area as well.
Crispy rice was ok, rice was a little chewier vs crispy.
The roll and the shumai were both flavorful.

This was our first time at this restaurant. We went when they opened and service was slow even though there were very few customers. Our waiter was friendly and never made us feel rushed. That said, we told him at the beginning we would we ordering several rounds but he never checked to see if we wanted to place an order until well after we finished the current round. Not bad service, buy bit great either considering he probably had just 2 or 3 tables.
Food: Quality of the fish was excellent! The flavor of the rolls we had was very good. A little disappointing that the specialty maki have either spicy _____ or tempura _____ inside. You can get salmon or tuna inside a maki but only the small maki, think salmon or salmon and avacado.
The overall experience was good and we did not ask for the things that were disappointing as it was our first time and we were getting a feel for the place. I would try this place again but possibly a different location.

Beautifully crafted and creative drinks, along with stunningly presented sushi and sashimi. The perfect spot for a ladies’ night, a romantic date, or even a business meeting.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and inviting. Every detail — from the lighting to the décor — was carefully thought out, creating a cozy yet refined setting.
The staff were exceptional — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Service was smooth and professional, with just the right balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our time.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, showing true creativity and attention to quality. Every bite felt fresh, well-balanced, and perfectly seasoned. The presentation was artistic, making the whole experience feel special and memorable.
The overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant, with a perfect mix of background music and conversation. It wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience filled with care, passion, and detail.
Truly an unforgettable evening that leaves you wanting to return again and again.

Used to be favorite place to order sushi as well as dining in. Unfortunately recently they changed their crab mix and now favorite rolls like salmon sunshine and caterpillar don’t taste the same - completely dry and flavorless. I believe they used to use real crab mix and now opting out for cheaper imitation crab.

Bluefish in Park Ridge is absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—every bite felt like a treat. Our server was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and really made the experience even better without ever being overbearing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy a meal while still feeling a touch of elegance. From start to finish, everything about my visit was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Bluefish to friends and family!

Pros: had toro, fatty yellowtail, nice seating. Found us room temp water. Got out for under $100 for lunch.
Cons: sushi rice was dry and took away from the flavor of the entire meal especially the otoro @ $10/cut. This really killed the whole meal. Toro and fatty yellowtail were chewy; they missed a tendon. A roll came with salmon that was so skinny, it was translucent. Waitress messed up the roll order that we specifically asked her to check. They missed two of our nigiri. They were out of oysters, and didn’t know till after we ordered.
