Stay away. Changed owners and it wasn't clean but decent pick up. Filthy fish in tank are gone. It doesn't matter. It's like eating cotton balls with pea pods. Terrible.

New owners took over and things have gone downhill, portions have been cut almost in half, the answering service is terrible and they are using a different meat for the Mongolian beef, my used to be favorite dish, the meat used to be tender and juicy and is now stringy and chewy. Extremely disappointing as we were regulars.

New owners, they obviously cut kitchen capacity and they can’t keep up. Quoted 25 minutes for pickup and it was 1 hour 15 minutes. Horrible! 15 people literally standing around the whole time that I waited. The line is out the door. You’ve been warned. This isn’t the same as it was, these owners have disrespected a lot of loyal customers.

New owners took over and it’s a disaster. It pains me to write a bad review because I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been excellent. But new owners took over recently and outsourced the phone answering service overseas. Now the service is horrendous, missing items, missing orders, a complete train wreck. They also changed the size of the food containers, cutting down on the portion size a lot, which is also disappointing.Hopefully they’ll go back to the way things were because terrible, outsourced service and skimping on portions like this will have this place out of business in six months.

First time visit and it was wonderful. Service was only surpassed by the food. Vast selection that had photos on the wall so picking was easy. Will definitely be back when we visit our family.

Let’s me tell you folk who doesn’t know what is Chinese food test like . There foods are terrible. They can’t even make a simple noodle test good. I don’t know how some people give them 5 stars. I wonder are they really know how to cook. Sorry for writing review that may hurt their business , but man.. we deserve better food than this. I am Asian btw.

CTG was a throwback to the Chinese restaurants from the 80s. Good basic fare. Not a lot of fanfare or fancy decor. Eat in and carry out at low prices. Mooshu was good and the egg rolls were pretty good. Not many choices in Park Ridge but give this one a try.

We used to love all the food we would get from this restaurant. They must of changed hands as the last two times we have gone here, it has not been good. House chop suey. Mostly bean sprouts, lacked flavor and watery. It didn't even look good Chicken soup. Broth had zero flavor. Egg foo young, used to be our favorite. Totally changed and again lacked flavor. Crab Rangoon, very little filling and chewy. Egg rolls were passable, but still meh The chow fun was good. I would buy that again but not thing else. This used to be our go to not anymore!!!

Have been ordering from here for over 20 years, now all of a sudden they can't make things that are on their menu and the told us that not all the food is cooked fresh. Either they have someone answering the phones that should not or they are going downhill fast. I ordered from somewhere else!

This restaurant used to be my go to Chinese restaurant when I lived in Norwood Park 25 years ago. It has gone badly downhill through the years. I ordered a chicken chow fun for carryout . The noodles were overcooked and there was hardly any sauce, such a flavorless unpalatable mess. It ended up in the garbage.
