I'm so thrilled this spot never closed! It has the most friendly staff and great soft serve that suits me and mine. Our family loves to stop here on the way out of town, and it is always packed! I think the parking is weird but because the staff is quick, we don't wait long.
Again, thanks for never closing over all these years!

The attitude of the employee's was absolutely unacceptable. Rude. Impatient. They were all yelling at one another. We have been going there for years but we won't be back after tonight.

I went there 'cause people said they had the classic vibes of what Dairy Queen was at its begginning. Well... they exceeded my expectations. The service is a 20/10 and as soon as you get in the place, you can feel how you get transported to the past. Love the pics of its begginings on the wall. Gonna go back when I visit Chicago again.

"Went with my family at the end of summer for an M&M Blizzard, and I’m all about it! Awesome service, the treats were on point, and the whole spot has this classic American vibe that really makes it special."

So I'm reviewing this dairy Queen because Google asked me to. Wasn't that nice? Well let me start off by saying it's a dairy Queen and you buy ice cream there and if you like ice cream this is a good place to go for ice cream, soft freeze of course. And there's my review. Thank you for reading this and wasting at least 30 seconds of your own time that you will never get back.....ever.

A vintage DQ experience, I wouldn't change a thing. It's a pleasant change from the snooty park ridge experience. Usually, there is a line that forms out the door on hot days, but it moves fast thanks to the staff of friendly teenagers quenching everyone's wants of sugary treats. There is some indoor seating as well as benches outside.
Parking: Side lot, like 8 spots.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to take the kids after school or event.

I love dairy Queen. It’s my part of my childhood. However the past few years, the machine seems to not be working as well and the ice cream melts so easily.
The Park ridge location is good. Good staff making good blizzards. Bravo.
In the Wilmette location, there were two sides to the cashier. I was waiting my turn, however they kept serving others that came after me on the other side. When I asked if I could order anywhere they said yes. They would not even look at me. When they finally took my order, the girl took it with attitude.
Recently I went to the Northbrook location on Dundee Rd and there was a young boy who used a cup for a blizzard that was already sitting out, compared to the ones stacked up on each other. And when I asked him to use another one he didn’t. He also has attitude.
Like c’mon, I just wanted to eat some ice cream, Please train your staff.
So disappointing. I used to love Dairy Queen.
