I came in today in hopes of getting a shake. They were very busy I waited my turn, ordered an extravagant mint chip shake. I then sat down at a nearby table to wait for my mint chip shake, which i was very excited to try after the amazing employees and staff told me how good it tasted. NOT EVEN 5 SECONDS OF SITTING DOWN, i hear this obnoxious noise coming from these young girls sitting down at the table next to me. They were eating chipotle like animals. They chewed with their MOUTHS OPEN and made a mess. The poor employees that had to deal with this mess. It seemed as if the employees noticed they hadn't ordered something (which is what those little park ridge kids do) and the man with tattoos and brown hair told them to leave. The staff reassured me that they wouldn't bother poor people like us in the store just waiting for our shakes any longer and ruin our Oberweis experience. Therefore, thanks to the outstanding stuff and great manager I received the most scrumptious mint chip shake on a rainy Friday night without the harassment of little park ridge kids.

Just went with 4 of my friends to get ice cream. Waited my turn, ordered, tipped, and then sat down at a table near the pick up counter to wait for our orders. NOT EVEN 5 SECONDS OF SITTING DOWN and we were harassed by one of the employees in the back. He said "You can't sit in here if you didn't order anything" and we said "we did" and he said in the rudest tone "where?!". After we convinced him that we actually did order he walked away without saying anything. I was later made aware that he is a manager of the store. As a manager how is it appropriate to speak to a customer that way??? He has a full face of tattoos and had brown hair. I was so disgusted and disappointed at the way he spoke to a young group of girls in such a disrespectful way when all we were doing was waiting for our ice cream. I was also extremely insulted that he assumed my grown 20 year old self would want to spend my friday night loitering inside of an oberweis.....please get that man out of the store!!!! Never going back there just because i don't ever want to see him again

Alex is so amazing. He’s a great manager and he handled some local delinquents professionally when they disturbed the peace the night we decided to stop in. My guy deserves a raise for what he has to go through daily. Sorry to the workers at the Parkridge Oberweis for what you guys have to endure on a daily basis.

This looks like an old school soda shoppe but everything is modern and clean. Prices are okay and the staff is friendly.Coffee ice cream for me, butter pecan ice cream for her. Both were good, but not great. Nowhere near as good as Santa Barbara's McConnells, but nothing is so that isn't a fair comparison.According to Google they also own the That Burger Joint and Woodgrain Pizzeria chains. That doesn't really change anything, I just thought it was interesting.Parking: Shared parking lot in back, some street parking

Waited nearly 30 minutes for a shake. The fact that there are 4-5 employees on the floor and it takes all of them to figure out a name for one item is crazy. Can’t believe I picked coming here over Margie’s ice cream. Never
Enjoyed a delightful visit to this ice cream shop! The variety of flavors was impressive, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The quality of the ice cream is top-notch, with rich and creamy textures. The cozy ambiance added to the overall experience. While I had a great time, a wider seating area would enhance the comfort for customers. Nonetheless, a solid choice for a sweet treat

I was disappointed with the small scoops. Also, I ordered a pice of chocolate cake. I received 5 or 6 tiny squares of stale chocolcate cake. One star seems fitting. I will not return.
