We made a reservation for brunch and were seated in a nice table right away even though the whole party wasn't present on arrival. The service was a little slow, but all the food came out together and was hot. We would not order the short rib hash again. It had no flavor and was very greasy, but loved the breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. And the drinks were excellent. Would recommend if you stay awake from the short rib hash.

One of our favorite places to go out for a nice dinner! The service is wonderful, the food is fantastic, and the restaurant has such a nice vibe! We tried some different dishes this time and again it was so good. One had the Skirt steak Chimichurri, one had the Seafood Risotto, one had the Whitefish, and one had the Faroe Island Salmon. Everyone loved their dinner!

Food was good, lighting was good for lunch. It was a special day for me so had some good times and good food with some drinks with some family.

Ate here years ago and didn't come back until now for a reason....decided to give it a second chance. Our server was excellent and attentive. The food was just fine, nothing great. If we had paid more than happy hour prices, I would have been more disappointed. The slider trio was not that great, no great flavor or uniqueness. The cocktails were good. The biggest problem were the constant sewer flies, flying around our table for the entire meal. The restaurant did not seem dirty, so time to throw some bleach down the drains. It was pretty hard to enjoy our time while constantly swatting away gnats/flies. We were seated in the west front room of the restaurant fyi.

We were really looking forward to trying Pennyville Station for the first time, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server, Juan, seemed less than enthusiastic from the start. One of the serving dishes we received still had food particles on it--not a huge deal, these things happen--but when I politely asked for a clean one, he silently took it and brought another back without so much as an apology or acknowledgment. A simple, "I'm so sorry about that, let me get you a clean one right away," would've gone a long way. After finishing our meals, he came by briefly to ask if everything was okay. We said yes, thinking he'd offer dessert or ask if we needed anything else--but he just walked off. We had to call him back to let him know we wanted crème brûlée. It just felt like we were an afterthought, which was surprising given that it was mid-afternoon and only two other tables were seated with two servers working. The food itself was good--no complaints there--but we specifically came for the king crab, which they were unfortunately out of. That was disappointing but understandable. What's harder to overlook is the poor service. Being in the service industry myself, I know how important those small moments of care and attentiveness are. That's what keeps people coming back. Sadly, this first visit may also be our last.

Good for adults - nice to have a kid-free option (at least it was kid-free when we were there). Don't get me wrong, kids are great - but it's nice to not to have to contend with them.

Pennyville has outstanding food. I have never had a meal there that hasn't been top notch! The food is beyond fresh and flavorful! They have great wine, as well, and wonderful service and ambiance. The hummus appetizer is a must! You could make a meal out of it! Always a pleasure.

I love pennyville. Our server was excellent. My only complaint is pricing. It's quite expensive for the quantity. Also a bit dark in the restaurant. A family member had the skirt steak, and it was lacking in tenderness and flavor. So 4/5 for those reasons.

We truly wanted to enjoy this place but unfortunately had quite a poor experience.

My partner asked for a Risotto without truffle oil. We were brought a Risotto with truffle oil, which our server was admittedly helpful with getting fixed. However shortly after leaving the restaurant my partner got extremely ill from what I can assume was a haphazardly thrown together second risotto. For $32 risotto, this was incredibly disappointing.

Beyond this I also had the wagyu burger, which I asked for medium rare and came closer to medium well, kind of making the “wagyu” part relatively un-tasteable.

Incredibly disappointing, only silver lining being our server.

The food was excellent. The prime rib special was delicious - not a "typical" prime rib, it had a very tasty char on it. We'll definitely be back!

Celebrated a friend's 50th bday here. The food was excellent and they let us decorate the back room and bring in balloons.
