The bill was a nice surprise, we spent less than many other restaurants where we ate worse! I’ve passed this place dozens of times and never knew it was there.Found it online, it had good reviews and decided to try it out. I’m glad I did!Dining area has a about 15 tables that are well spread out, is very clean and decorated nicely.They offer full bar service. My wine was a good pour and reasonably priced!Dinners were also fairly priced, well proportionated and delicious. I had their Greek flavored pork chops which normally come with mixed vegetables and I substituted steamed broccoli which was perfectly cooked.Service staff was very helpful with the menu, courteous and sweet.

We were looking for a restaurant close to the Pickwick so we wouldn't have to move our car and took a chance on Silvers Grill. We're so happy we did! Our server Melanie was cheerful and attentive (always a good start; I can cook a great meal at home but the service is what makes an enjoyable meal out). Our cocktails were mixed properly. I ordered the Popeye Chicken Sandwich with a salad and my wife had the Chicken Wrap with fries. Both sandwiches were exceptionally tasty for fairly simple fare. What we really appreciated was the freshness of the produce: lettuce and cucumber in the salad were crisp and tasty and the bell peppers added to the Chicken Wrap (wrapped, pressed and grilled for a little crunch) set the flavor apart from a typical wrap. Even the tomatoes were surprisingly good for off-season. And not to forget proper French fries. Crinkle-cut with no batter coating. Light, crisp and tasty. Hey, I'm picky about my fries! We'll certainly return around the dinner hour to try some of the entrees.

Went here with my buddy Jack when I came into town to see my mom.We shared an appetizer of pork and chicken skewers that were juicy and delicious. Got ribeyes with garlic mashed and was pleased with the cook and excellent service was provided.Here's the Breakdown:Big, yummy appetizer +1 star; good steak +1 star; really good mashed potatoes +1 syar; great service +1 star; dinner with a friend +1 star.I'd go back
My wife and I enjoyed a leisurely and delicious dinner at Silvers. This was our 1st time here and we noticed that there were only two waitstaff who did the waitressing, bar-tendering and busing of tables. This smaller type of restaurant was quite busy as it was almost 100% filled. Our server, Melanie, was very nice and we appreciated her service and attention in taking our orders and doing a wonderful job under such trying circumstances. The restaurant was obviously understaffed but we admired the job that Melanie and her co-worker were doing. In today’s environment of people being whiny, demanding and not very understanding , we just want to say thank you, Melanie, for doing a great job and making our dining experience enjoyable,

We were back in Chicago visiting friends and they suggested we have dinner here. The menu was limited, but everything we ate was good. The salmon and chopped steak entrees had large portion sizes and everything was tasty. Salads were ample. Service was very pleasant, and despite the review from 2 months ago was in an acceptable time frame. Decent bar and wine selections. Would go again when back in the area.

Small upscale dining experience with nice, slightly rustic decor. Both tables and booths are available. Dress code is casual. The menu is on a smaller scale but the food is Fantastic and prepared fresh. They serve burgers and wraps to steaks and Seafood. The soups are homemade and taste amazing. They have lunch specials too around $15. Liquor and wine are served here. Very clean, service is good, and all around, a very lovely place to take family or friends out for a nice dinner prepared from fresh ingredients.
