Adorable neighborhood tea shop with some of the best loose leaf tea!
Cannot even explain how much I love this place. The tea is absolutely delicious! I think we’ve tried about half of them by now and none of them have disappointed. The white and oolong teas are our favorite but the blacks and greens and amazing too! If you love fruit I recommend the kookaberry! My kids love the lullaby blend (chamomile & spearmint) and my husband loves the oolong peach. You can’t go wrong with any flavor. On top of delicious tea, the staff is incredible and totally knowledgeable. A neighborhood gem! Also make sure to stop in for a hot or iced tea brewed fresh, they’re only $5! 5 stars!!
We enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon tea which included an assortment of scones with fresh clotted cream and jam, various desserts, delicious finger sandwiches and bottomless pots of tea. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They also offer a large variety of teas and tea ware for sale. A great place to spend a couple hours sipping tea relaxing with friends or family.
I love shopping here for loose leaf teas/accessories, grabbing a drink to enjoy in the shop or to go, and I just experienced a private tea tasting class with Sheila that was incredible. A must stop spot in Park Ridge. I drive 13 miles to come here - so worth it!
I stopped in briefly to grab a tea while holding my small chihuahua in my arms. I wasn’t planning to stay—just order and go. Immediately, staff questioned me about my dog and asked what task he was certified under. I explained he is an ESA (Emotional Support Animal) and that I was just trying to quickly get a drink and leave. Despite him being fully under control and not on the floor, I was met with a rigid attitude and made to feel very unwelcome. Just moved to the area and was looking for a cute place to become a regular at and host tea parties! Now I won’t be returning.
I understand policies exist, but there are ways to enforce them with basic kindness and understanding. The situation could have been handled with much more grace. I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed. Definitely not the warm or community-oriented vibe I’d expect from a tea house. Here is a pic of me and my dog chillin at the Starbucks down the street! No questions asked! I’d rather support local but it is what it is
What a lovely tea shop! I had a couple of hours in between things, and needed to get work done, so I went to TeaLula. Everyone working there was very friendly. The place is sunny and specious, beautiful to look at, with some outside seating as well. My tea was delicious as was the sandwich. Lots of things on the menu.
I’d love to go back not just for work, but with friends, to share some delicious beverages and tasty bites.
Great tea and latte spot. Excellent servers and a great spot overall
What a great find! Love this place!!
So good amazing place and it's the best tea shop I've ever been to.
Very cute experience; HOWEVER, waitress did not really care to pay attention to us and food was limited. Our sandwiches were a bit dry as if they were sitting out for a bit before they came to our table. We wanted to try a vegetarian sandwich but the waitress didn't care to see if we wanted anything else. The tea was wonderful, BUT when we received honey, there was something in the honey (not a bug, just a piece of aluminum) I asked for a new one but received a sticky jar of honey. Gross. The chef came out and greeted us - which was very nice. We also were given a sample of soup that was absolutely delicious, but again, couldn't order it because of the lack of attention. Not sure if you can just have a lunch with soup and sandwiches. I have high hopes of this cute establishment, but some attention needs to be made.

This was a delicious experience. Not just the tea but the food was so good.
My sister introduced me to this wonderful tea shop and I cannot recommend them enough. Their Earl Grey de la Crème blend changed my perception of the Leafy Noble and many of their other teas are just as scrumptious. Even non tea lovers can find something they like since the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will find something for even the pickiest palate. If you are in the area, skip the Starbucks and venture here. It will be well worth your while.
I came here with my family for my mother's birthday. Had a great time. Wonderful atmosphere. Lots of tea.
For the guys, food portions are good for a quick bite. For sure do not have to go to a drive through afterwards.
Great staff and owners. Would return again for more tea.
Lovely atmosphere & staff are kind
TeaLula is a great place for enthusiasts, or anyone who is open to sampling an excellent cup of tea. Unlike others, TeaLula brews Individual pots using loose leaf tea. No adding hot water to the dregs of previously used leaves here! The menu features ten teas and you can sample them all if so inclined. The prix fixe afternoon tea for the Winter season consisted of four petite sandwiches carefully constructed and layered with flavors, two kick-bum scones (one of which was chocolate chip) served with wild berry jam, lemon curd and home-made clotted cream, and two small bites of sweet pleasure. We had the opportunity to talk with Chef Jeff who impressed us with his warmth and willingness to answer a few questions. We were charmed by the efficient but cheery server (Annie) who made us feel quite at home. Reservations for Afternoon Tea service are recommended and it’s available Thursday through Sunday. Street parking or use the lot (free after 11:00 am) with access through the alley across from TeaLula.
