I wasted 30 mins of my time driving here. There is no restaurant at the address in Google. It says open but was surprised to find construction workers in the building. I tried calling the number on their website but it doesn't work

Amazing Awesome

I went here last night to celebrate my Mother's Birthday. Our servers were Aanand and Sudeep, and I met the owner Vinod as well. The service was great, and so was the food. We had a nice time here. Only recommendations I have:They did not do any Birthday specials, which is typical for many restaurants. There was only 1 bathroom for such a large number of customers. Please to include more bathrooms and hand washing stations when remodeling.Dietary restrictions: Keto options available.Parking: Parking is free for 3 hours.

Liked the restaurant location.. ordered chicken kothu parotta & Goat chukka.. kothu parotta taste was really good.. but personally didn’t like the Goat chukka that much.. still it tastes good compared to other restaurants..very less space but ambience was good.

I had a terrible experience at this place. The food was stale, tasteless, and looked old. Worse, I got food poisoning after eating. They are reheating and serving old food. This is unacceptable and a serious health risk. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE !!!

I brought my parents here because they missed Tamil food so after failing many times to find authentic South Indian cuisine close to us my husband found this place which is more than 2 hours away. But the moment we walked in we realized the long drive was worth it. The servers did everything in their power to make us feel at home. After promptly seating us & taking down our orders my mom mentioned that she likes the music they’re playing but her favorite singer is SPB. It was just a comment she made in passing, we didn’t think much about it but even though our server was swamped (it was a Sunday) she made time to remember what my mom said & changed the music to play my mom’s favorite songs. I’ve never met such efficient staff, after we scarfed down our biriyanis we decided since this restaurant is so far from us that we’d want to order 4 entrees to go so we could enjoy it later. Our order was so promptly processed & given to us that we were shocked. Needless to say our server got a massive tip which was well deserved for going above & beyond! Also, the food is out of this world! Like a little slice of India nestled in Chicago. The quality of food, service & going out of the way to make us feel at home made the almost 3 hour commute worth it. This will definitely become our go to spot when we come to Chicago or when we feel like eating real biriyani! 1 thing to note is parking can be rough, we had to park quite far & walk which is to be expected in the city, so I’m not mad about it, just something you should know if you plan on heading over there. Which you absolutely should, if I didn’t already make that clear enough!!

Had ordered takeway.. website order now showed thali but when dialed they told its not available fair enough and then requested to suggest some good appetizers he told look into menu and disconnected the call. Finally dialed back and ordered ridiculous pricing $12 for 8 oz sambar. No courtesy, pathetic customer service

We drove in, on our way back home, thinking this was actually Thalaiva's (Rajnikath) personal gourmet chain, but wasn't.Rest assured, they're as genuine a Thalaiva (Leader/Boss) in restaurant business and Indian cooking as any.Exceptional food quality, chicken curry to die for. Don't go expecting Delhi style North Indian cuisine and tastes only, coz the flavors of Bangalore and Hyderabad abound and how!!Amazing trip, worth every penny! For you, Go for it. And for Thalaiva's, keep it going!!
