This place is an off the main road experiences. Quaint bar/ restaurant located in Loran,Illinois. Fully stocked bar with various beer types,and of course mixed drinks. Fish Fry every Friday, and from the looks of their menu, they provide a range of food options. Outdoor seating area, to enjoy a smoke with your beverage. Check it out if you’re ever in the area.
Been wanting to stop in here since we moved to Illinois a couple months ago. Finally had the opportunity and was pleasantly surprised. They've got a real nice bar and the bartender was friendly. She recommended their Italian sandwich. I was skeptical as it was on Texas toast but it was real tasty. If you are in the area, give them a shot. I'll be back.

From the outside you'd think it's a country tavern. Once inside the atmosphere is warm, the people are friendly and as we came to find out people come from all over. We met a group of cross country Enduro riders from Chicago who said they stop there every year. The menu is straightforward and looks inviting enough. We opted for the specials - Phillipino inspired meat dumpling and butterfly chicken with fried rice. Shout out for the "better than I could make" fried rice. Thanks to the manager, Linda who took the time to check on us after we were done. Prices are more than reasonable. We'll be back.

As full-time touring artist, I play a lot of venues. I can honestly say that the S&B goes the extra mile to take care of their performing artists and the guests in attendance. Because of their above and beyond efforts, they have fast become "the Bluebird of the Midwest", a right of passage for quality artists looking to break into the Midwest market! I appreciate the S&B very much and recommend making it destination point for anyone looking to have a quality experience.

The bartenders are great and communicate well with everyone. We always have great food every time we come and never have a problem! It’s a great place to come have a drink and watch the football games or come see a band that is playing!
