Had buffalo fish baked beans and fries it was delicious! Second day I got the hamburger horseshoe to find out it was fake frozen patties they were very nasty, a co-worker got a cheeseburger it had the same patties he didn't like it either. Third time I got a tenderloin it was really good and big ?! So the bottom line is something's are good and some aren't like anywhere else you go. We had takeout so idk what the atmosphere was like. But we need little eating places in the small towns so keep it in mind.

Where do you start with this one? The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The place was very clean, the staff came to each table and asked if you needed anything. The food is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! My overall experience is 100000 stars

We came to Laurel MS to see many of the places that were on the shore. Seeing that it was lunchtime we went to amiss Pearls Diner. It’s downtown and small so there can be a wait. My wife and i ordered our lunch and found a table. The food is southern soul food and it was delicious. Price was reasonable. Recommend end it.

Yum!!!! The vegetables were amazing. The fried chicken was crispy and very moist. Was so happy to be there at last . The building is something to see. Great history.

Heard a lot about this diner so thought we would try it, Service was quick upon arrival, many item’s advertised on window not available, Way overpriced, Food was good but not worth the cost, Tried once wouldn’t return unfortunately

The food is ok. When I sat down while my wife ordered, a person came over and ask how many in my party. When I said 2 she said I’d have to move to stools at a king counter. I felt a bit put out by this. The prices were very high compared to other meat and 3’s. It just felt a bit touristy and rushed.

We love going here to eat! Food is out fast and is delicious. The waitress is so friendly and cracks me up. I also enjoyed getting to talk with Denise for a bit. We love the welcoming atmosphere.

Locals choose other places. The food is okay, but not worth the lines or the prices. It was really good when it opened, but it's just a touristy place now because of the name. There are other soul food/meat and two places that are much better.

Great meal- generous portions. I got chicken fingers, Mac and cheese and mashed potato’s with gravy. Sweet tea was good. LONG line to get in- we had to wait outside just a bit - we were there at 11 when they opened. You order at the resister - get any memorabilia while you are there- pay and they give you a number. Ms Pearl was there directing traffic telling people where to sit. It was so crowded that we had to share a table with another group. Food was good. Fresh, well seasoned, 3 large chicken fingers I could only eat 2. Mac and cheese was GOOD. Potato’s were ok- white gravy that had onions in it. Lemon cake was moist and had a good flavor. Pearl signed our cookbook and took a picture with us.

Pearl's Diner is a family owned restaurant with home cooked comfort food. A must if you visit Laurel. Get there when the doors open because it fills up fast. Fried chicken, greens and Mac and cheese are favorites!

Food okay, canned black eyed peas. Corn bread from a box and not very good. Great people and interesting to know the connection to Ben & Erin but not worth the price.

Pearl's Diner is a must do if you're in Laurel, MS! It's only open 11-2. Get there early because there will be a line to get in! The home cooked food was delicious; literally the best pork chop I've ever had! The hospitality was incredible! And, get dessert!
