Five stars - I just want to make sure that’s read first! My husband and I haven’t eaten BBQ in a while, so we decided to give a new spot a, and we adore the atmosphere and food here. If the warm welcome doesn’t make you want to stay, the smell of their cooking will, I guarantee it!!
Just as a starter, we got the sweet corn nuggets and the Saturday special (burnt ends, cornbread, and a side of jalapeño bacon mac n cheese). The corn nuggets were perfectly crispy and savory! The mango honey sauce added a sweet and refreshing aftertaste as well, so I loved it :) I am not too sure if we had to choose between the chicken or burnt ends, but don’t let the portions fool you - the burnt ends are very filling and wonderfully flavored💖 The cornbread is light and fluffy, and the mac n cheese is very “heavenly” in my husbands words 😙🤌. The bacon and jalapeño complement the macaroni very well and makes you want to take another bite while breaking a small sweat🤣 100/10
Back to the welcoming environment, the service is amazing and everyone there is very kind. Even though we had takeout, the choose-your-own seating & design of the restaurant is relaxing, I love the decor! Granted, we checked out the place early in the day, so it wasn’t packed, but reasonably busy. I would not doubt it if it was super busy in the evening, it is such a great place to enjoy a bite and take more home for safekeeping! We didn’t try everything on the menu, but we can’t wait to try something else at another time! Thank you again for your beautiful food and lovely greetings!🥰

Got food here for the first time today 8/9/25. The lady working helped me order for my family and was super nice. The food was really good and The total bill for my family of five was 83 including tip. It's not the cheapest option around but I believe you pay for what you get and I was happy with the food quality.

Last night our family went to BC Bbq for a late dinner, we got there at 8pm and thought they closed at 9 ( my husband is the one who looked it up of course and didn’t read that the bar is open till 9 not the food🙄) we sat down and found out they closed at 8 and we felt HORRIBLE we tried to get up and go somewhere else but our waitress insisted we stay. She was absolutely amazing and so was the food! Besides us coming in at 8pm and closing time I hope we weren’t too much of a pain! Thank you so much for being so generous!

Great dining experience at BC BBQ. Visiting Peoria in work trip, saw the reviews and decided to stop in. Tammy B was my server and was friendly, courteous, and professional. The Brisket, Mac and Cheese, and fresh ear of corn were outstanding. Had to go to the park to walk it off. Restaurant was “home style”, clean, and welcoming.

First time trying BC BBQ and the Wife and I loved it! We can’t believe we waited so long to pop in. The food was great! The drinks were cold and fast and the service was excellent! Easy location to get too, easy parking. All around fantastic, we will be back again soon. 🍻
