Came here with my parents and wife for breakfast and it was so good. Our waiter was really attentive and patient while we made our selections. Coffee was good and hot. My steak tips and eggs were perfectly cooked. The only two complaints I would say was the toast my mom my wife and I got was very over cooked but it was salty and buttery and went with the eggs perfect. And the other would be the fruit I got instead of potatoes was terrible the apples were frozen the bananas had no flavor and the blueberries were mushy. Other then that great meal

Small portions and entire meal was cold. The biscuits were so hard they shattered into pieces when trying to cut. The fresh biscuit they brought was warm and chewy like it was microwaved.

I should have gotten a clue when I was seared at a booth with a football size tear with the seat foam exposed. It did take a bit for my server to show up and ordered coffee while I looked at the menu. I literally drank 2/3 of my cup before she finally returned. I finished my cup and moved it to the edge of the table for a refill. My waitress never returned once. Finally after a 25 minute wait she finally arrived with my food and said, I'm sorry did you want a refill? Food was acceptable and after waiting for my check for 10 minutes she finally walked by and asked if I was ready for my check. I waited another 15 minutes before she finally came by again and said, didn't I bring you your check? Including myself she only waited on 3 tables while I was there and they had the same experience. There are alot of places fir breakfast in Pekin, don't go here!

This is a good place for affordable American fare at a decent price. The menu is heavy on breakfast items but who doesn't love all-day breakfast? (Communists, that's who!) The skillets are particularly filling and biscuits & gravy is a specialty.
Decent selection of affordable dinner items as well if you're looking for something more than just a burger.
The best thing is the obligatory side of banana bread that comes with most meals!

Liked being giving a glass of iced water was a plus! Food was good and the Waiter worked very hard and made sure I had everything I wanted . 5 ? 's
The staff was very nice, my server, I think his name was Jason was very friendly and was on point, he made sure I had everything I needed and checked up on me often. I had the western omelette W/ home fries and rye toast. The omelette and home fries were so so. I didn't say anything, I'm not one to complain but I'll probably get something else if I go back
